1 [For the choirmaster Psalm Of David] Listen, God, to my voice as I plead, protect my life from fear ofthe enemy;	1 Magistro chori. Psalmus. David.
2 hide me from the league of the wicked, from the gang of evil-doers.	2 Exaudi, Deus, vocem meam in meditatione mea; a timore inimici custodi animam meam.
3 They sharpen their tongues like a sword, aim their arrows of poisonous abuse,	3 Protege me a conventu malignantium, a multitudine operantium iniquitatem.
4 shoot at the innocent from cover, shoot suddenly, with nothing to fear.	4 Qui exacuerunt ut gladium linguas suas, intenderunt sagittas suas, venefica verba,

	11 Laetabitur iustus in Domino et sperabit in eo, et gloriabuntur omnes recti corde.
