Psalms 64

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 [For the choirmaster Psalm Of David] Listen, God, to my voice as I plead, protect my life from fear ofthe enemy;	1 Del maestro de coro. Salmo de David.
2 hide me from the league of the wicked, from the gang of evil-doers.	2 Dios mío, escucha la voz de mi lamento, protégeme del enemigo temible.
3 They sharpen their tongues like a sword, aim their arrows of poisonous abuse,	3 Apártame de la conjuración de los malvados, de la agitación de los que hacen el mal.
4 shoot at the innocent from cover, shoot suddenly, with nothing to fear.	4 Ellos afilan su lengua como una espada y apuntan como flechas sus palabras venenosas,
5 They support each other in their evil designs, they discuss how to lay their snares. 'Who wil see us?'they say,	5 para disparar a escondidas contra el inocente, tirando de sorpresa y sin ningún temor.
6 'or wil penetrate our secrets?' He wil do that, he who penetrates human nature to its depths, thedepths of the heart.	6 Se obstinan en sus malos propósitos y esconden sus trampas con astucia, pensando: «¿Quién podrá verlo?».
7 God has shot them with his arrow, sudden were their wounds.	7 Proyectan maldades y disimulan sus proyectos: su interior es un abismo impenetrable.
8 He brings them down because of their tongue, and al who see them shake their heads.	8 Pero Dios los acribilla a flechazos y quedan heridos de improviso;
9 Everyone wil be awestruck, proclaim what God has done, and understand why he has done it.	9 su misma lengua los lleva a la ruina, y aquellos que los ven mueven la cabeza.
10 The upright wil rejoice in Yahweh, wil take refuge in him, and al the honest wil praise him.	10 Por eso, todos los hombres sentirán temor; proclamarán esta obra de Dios y reconocerán lo que él hizo.
	11 El justo se alegrará en el Señor y encontrará un refugio en él; y se gloriarán todos los rectos de corazón.
