1 [Psalm Of David When he was in the desert of Judah] God, you are my God, I pine for you; my heartthirsts for you, my body longs for you, as a land parched, dreary and waterless.	1 Salmo. De David. Cuando estaba en el desierto de Judá.
2 Thus I have gazed on you in the sanctuary, seeing your power and your glory.	2 Dios, tú mi Dios, yo te busco, sed de ti tiene mi alma, en pos de ti languidece mi carne, cual tierra seca, agotada, sin agua.
3 Better your faithful love than life itself; my lips wil praise you.	3 Como cuando en el santuario te veía, al contemplar tu poder y tu gloria,
4 Thus I will bless you al my life, in your name lift up my hands.	4 - pues tu amor es mejor que la vida, mis labios te glorificaban -,
5 Al my longings fulfil ed as with fat and rich foods, a song of joy on my lips and praise in my mouth.	5 así quiero en mi vida bendecirte, levantar mis manos en tu nombre;
6 On my bed when I think of you, I muse on you in the watches of the night,	6 como de grasa y médula se empapará mi alma, y alabará mi boca con labios jubilosos.
7 for you have always been my help; in the shadow of your wings I rejoice;	7 Cuando pienso en ti sobre mi lecho, en ti medito en mis vigilias,
8 my heart clings to you, your right hand supports me.	8 porque tú eres mi socorro, y yo exulto a la sombra de tus alas;
9 May those who are hounding me to death go down to the depths of the earth,	9 mi alma se aprieta contra ti, tu diestra me sostiene.
10 given over to the blade of the sword, and left as food for jackals.	10 Mas los que tratan de perder mi alma, ¡caigan en las honduras de la tierra!
11 Then the king shall rejoice in God, al who swear by him shal gain recognition, for the mouths of liarsshall be silenced.	11 ¡Sean pasados al filo de la espada, sirvan de presa a los chacales!
	12 Y el rey en Dios se gozará, el que jura por él se gloriará, cuando sea cerrada la boca de los mentirosos.
