¹ [For the choirmaster . . . Jeduthun Psalm Of David] In God alone there is rest for my soul, from himcomes my safety;	¹ Провідникові хору. Для Ідутуна. Псалом. Давида.
² he alone is my rock, my safety, my stronghold so that I stand unshaken.	² Лише у Бозі душа моя має спочинок, в ньому моє спасіння.
³ How much longer wil you set on a victim, al together, intent on murder, like a rampart already leaningover, a wall already damaged?	³ Тільки він моє спасіння й моя скеля, мій захист: не захитаюсь ані трохи.
⁴ Trickery is their only plan, deception their only pleasure, with lies on their lips they pronounce ablessing, with a curse in their hearts.Pause	⁴ Доки ви будете на чоловіка нападати, усі вкупі його валити, неначе мур похилений, неначе огорожу, що валиться?
⁵ Rest in God alone, my soul! He is the source of my hope.	⁵ Вони тільки й гадають, як би мене з висоти зіпхнути; вони люблять брехні. Устами своїми благословляють, а в серці проклинають.
⁶ He alone is my rock, my safety, my stronghold, so that I stand unwavering.	⁶ Лише у Бозі спочивай, душе моя, у ньому бо моя надія.
⁷ In God is my safety and my glory, the rock of my strength. In God is my refuge;	⁷ Лиш він моя скеля й моє спасіння, мій захист, — я не захитаюсь.
⁸ trust in him, you people, at al times. Pour out your hearts to him, God is a refuge for us.Pause	⁸ У Бозі моє спасіння й моя слава, міцна моя скеля; прибіжище моє у Бозі.
⁹ Ordinary people are a mere puff of wind, important people a delusion; set both on the scales together,and they are lighter than a puff of wind.	⁹ Звіряйтеся на нього повсякчас, народи, виливайте перед ним серця ваші! Бог — нам пристановище.
¹⁰ Put no trust in extortion, no empty hopes in robbery; however much wealth may multiply, do not setyour heart on it.	¹⁰ Лиш подув — людські діти, брехня — сини вельможних; вони на вазі йдуть угору, легші від пари усі разом.
¹¹ Once God has spoken, twice have I heard this: Strength belongs to God,	¹¹ Не надійтеся на здирство, і грабунком марно не вихваляйтесь; коли зростає багатство, не прив’язуйтесь до нього серцем.
¹² to you, Lord, faithful love; and you repay everyone as their deeds deserve.	¹² Одне сказав Бог, оці дві речі чув я: що сила Богові належить
	¹³ і що у тебе, Господи, милість; бо ти воздаєш кожному згідно з його ділами.
