2 he alone is my rock, my safety, my stronghold so that I stand unshaken.	2 En Dios sólo el descanso de mi alma, de él viene mi salvación;
3 How much longer wil you set on a victim, al together, intent on murder, like a rampart already leaningover, a wall already damaged?	3 sólo él mi roca, mi salvación, mi ciudadela, no he de vacilar.
4 Trickery is their only plan, deception their only pleasure, with lies on their lips they pronounce ablessing, with a curse in their hearts.Pause	4 ¿Hasta cuándo atacaréis a un solo hombre, le abatiréis, vosotros todos, como a una muralla que se vence, como a pared que se desploma?
5 Rest in God alone, my soul! He is the source of my hope.	5 Doblez sólo proyectan, su placer es seducir; con mentira en la boca, bendicen, y por dentro maldicen. Pausa.
6 He alone is my rock, my safety, my stronghold, so that I stand unwavering.	6 En Dios sólo descansa, oh alma mía, de él viene mi esperanza;
7 In God is my safety and my glory, the rock of my strength. In God is my refuge;	7 sólo él mi roca, mi salvación, mi ciudadela, no he de vacilar;
8 trust in him, you people, at al times. Pour out your hearts to him, God is a refuge for us.Pause	8 en Dios mi salvación y mi gloria, la roca de mi fuerza. En Dios mi refugio;
9 Ordinary people are a mere puff of wind, important people a delusion; set both on the scales together,and they are lighter than a puff of wind.	9 confiad en él, oh pueblo, en todo tiempo; derramad ante él vuestro corazón, ¡Dios es nuestro refugio! Pausa.
10 Put no trust in extortion, no empty hopes in robbery; however much wealth may multiply, do not setyour heart on it.	10 Un soplo solamente los hijos de Adán, los hijos de hombre, una mentira; si subieran a la balanza serían menos que un soplo todos juntos.
11 Once God has spoken, twice have I heard this: Strength belongs to God,	11 No os fiéis de la opresión, no os ilusionéis con la rapiña; a las riquezas, cuando aumenten, no apeguéis el corazón.
12 to you, Lord, faithful love; and you repay everyone as their deeds deserve.	12 Dios ha hablado una vez, dos veces, lo he oído: Que de Dios es la fuerza,
	13 tuyo, Señor, el amor; y: Que tú al hombre pagas con arreglo a sus obras.
