1 [For the choirmaster . . . Jeduthun Psalm Of David] In God alone there is rest for my soul, from himcomes my safety;	1 לַמְנַצֵּחַ עַל־יְדוּתוּן מִזְמֹור לְדָוִד
2 he alone is my rock, my safety, my stronghold so that I stand unshaken.	2 אַךְ אֶל־אֱלֹהִים דּוּמִיָּה נַפְשִׁי מִמֶּנּוּ יְשׁוּעָתִי
3 How much longer wil you set on a victim, al together, intent on murder, like a rampart already leaningover, a wall already damaged?	3 אַךְ־הוּא צוּרִי וִישׁוּעָתִי מִשְׂגַּבִּי לֹא־אֶמֹּוט רַבָּה
4 Trickery is their only plan, deception their only pleasure, with lies on their lips they pronounce ablessing, with a curse in their hearts.Pause	4 עַד־אָנָה ׀ תְּהֹותְתוּ עַל אִישׁ תְּרָצְּחוּ כֻלְּכֶם כְּקִיר נָטוּי גָּדֵר הַדְּחוּיָה
5 Rest in God alone, my soul! He is the source of my hope.	5 אַךְ מִשְּׂאֵתֹו ׀ יָעֲצוּ לְהַדִּיחַ יִרְצוּ כָזָב בְּפִיו יְבָרֵכוּ וּבְקִרְבָּם יְקַלְלוּ־סֶלָה
6 He alone is my rock, my safety, my stronghold, so that I stand unwavering.	6 אַךְ לֵאלֹהִים דֹּומִּי נַפְשִׁי כִּי־מִמֶּנּוּ תִּקְוָתִי
7 In God is my safety and my glory, the rock of my strength. In God is my refuge;	7 אַךְ־הוּא צוּרִי וִישׁוּעָתִי מִשְׂגַּבִּי לֹא אֶמֹּוט
8 trust in him, you people, at al times. Pour out your hearts to him, God is a refuge for us.Pause	8 עַל־אֱלֹהִים יִשְׁעִי וּכְבֹודִי צוּר־עֻזִּי מַחְסִי בֵּאלֹהִים
9 Ordinary people are a mere puff of wind, important people a delusion; set both on the scales together,and they are lighter than a puff of wind.	9 בִּטְחוּ בֹו בְכָל־עֵת ׀ עָם שִׁפְכוּ־לְפָנָיו לְבַבְכֶם אֱלֹהִים מַחֲסֶה־לָּנוּ סֶלָה
10 Put no trust in extortion, no empty hopes in robbery; however much wealth may multiply, do not setyour heart on it.	10 אַךְ ׀ הֶבֶל בְּנֵי־אָדָם כָּזָב בְּנֵי אִישׁ בְּמֹאזְנַיִם לַעֲלֹות הֵמָּה מֵהֶבֶל יָחַד
11 Once God has spoken, twice have I heard this: Strength belongs to God,	11 אַל־תִּבְטְחוּ בְעֹשֶׁק וּבְגָזֵל אַל־תֶּהְבָּלוּ חַיִל ׀ כִּי־יָנוּב אַל־תָּשִׁיתוּ לֵב
12 to you, Lord, faithful love; and you repay everyone as their deeds deserve.	12 אַחַת ׀ דִּבֶּר אֱלֹהִים שְׁתַּיִם־זוּ שָׁמָעְתִּי כִּי עֹז לֵאלֹהִים
	13 וּלְךָ־אֲדֹנָי חָסֶד כִּי־אַתָּה תְשַׁלֵּם לְאִישׁ כְּמַעֲשֵׂהוּ
