2 Those who harry me lie in wait for me al day, countless are those who attack me from the heights.	2 Abbi pietà di me, o Dio, poiché un uomo mi ha calpestato, tutto il giorno uno che mi combatte m'opprime.
3 When I am afraid, I put my trust in you,	3 Mi hanno calpestato i miei avversari tutto il giorno, poiché molti mi combattono, o Altissimo.
4 in God, whose word I praise, in God I put my trust and have no fear, what power has human strengthover me?	4 Quando sono preso dal timore, in te io mi rifugio:
5 Al day long they carp at my words, their only thought is to harm me,	5 in Dio, di cui celebro la promessa, in Dio confido: non temo; cosa potrà farmi un essere mortale?
6 they gather together, lie in wait and spy on my movements, as though determined to take my life.	6 Tutto il giorno parlano e complottano, per la mia rovina sono tutti i loro piani:
7 Because of this crime reject them, in your anger, God, strike down the nations.	7 congiurano, tendono agguati. Ecco: le mie orme osservano, sì, aspettano al varco l'anima mia.
8 You yourself have counted up my sorrows, col ect my tears in your wineskin.	8 In ragione della colpa ripàgali: nell'ira i popoli prosterna, o Dio.
9 Then my enemies wil turn back on the day when I cal . This I know, that God is on my side.	9 I passi del mio vagare tu hai numerato, le mie lacrime son poste nel tuo otre, cioè nel tuo libro.
10 In God whose word I praise, in Yahweh whose word I praise,	10 Allora si volgeranno indietro i miei nemici, nel giorno in cui a te griderò. Questo io so: Dio è per me!
11 in God I put my trust and have no fear; what can mortal man do to me?	11 In Dio, di cui celebro la promessa, nel Signore, di cui celebro la promessa,
12 I am bound by the vows I have made, God, I will pay you the debt of thanks,	12 in Dio confido: non temo, cosa potrà farmi un uomo?
13 for you have saved my life from death to walk in the presence of God, in the light of the living.	13 Su di me, o Dio, i tuoi voti: voglio sciogliere a te le mie lodi,
	14 poiché hai strappato dalla morte l'anima mia, cioè il mio piede dalla caduta, affinché possa camminare al cospetto di Dio, nella luce dei viventi.
