Psalms 149

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 Al eluia! Sing a new song to Yahweh: his praise in the assembly of the faithful!	1 ¡Aleluya! ¡Cantad a Yahveh un cantar nuevo: su alabanza en la asamblea de sus amigos!
2 Israel shall rejoice in its Maker, the children of Zion delight in their king;	2 ¡Regocíjese Israel en su hacedor, los hijos de Sión exulten en su rey;
3 they shal dance in praise of his name, play to him on tambourines and harp!	3 alaben su nombre con la danza, con tamboril y cítara salmodien para él!
4 For Yahweh loves his people, he will crown the humble with salvation.	4 Porque Yahveh en su pueblo se complace, adorna de salvación a los humildes.
5 The faithful exult in glory, shout for joy as they worship him,	5 Exalten de gloria sus amigos, desde su lecho griten de alegría:
6 praising God to the heights with their voices, a two-edged sword in their hands,	6 los elogios de Dios en su garganta, y en su mano la espada de dos filos;
7 to wreak vengeance on the nations, punishment on the peoples,	7 para ejecutar venganza en las naciones, castigos en los pueblos,
8 to load their kings with chains and their nobles with iron fetters,	8 para atar con cadenas a sus reyes, con grillos de hierro a sus magnates,
9 to execute on them the judgement passed -- to the honour of al his faithful.	9 para aplicarles la sentencia escrita: ¡será un honor para todos sus amigos!
