1 [Of David] Blessed be Yahweh, my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle,	1 - Lode. Di David. Io ti esalterò, o mio Dio, o re, e benedirò il tuo nome ne' secoli, in eterno.
2 my faithful love, my bastion, my citadel, my Saviour; I shelter behind him, my shield, he makes thepeoples submit to me.	2 Ogni giorno ti benediròe loderò il tuo nome ne' secoli, in eterno.
3 Yahweh, what is a human being for you to notice, a child of Adam for you to think about?	3 Grande è il Signore e degno sommamente di lode, e della sua grandezza non c'è confini.
4 Human life, a mere puff of wind, days as fleeting as a shadow.	4 Una generazione dopo l'altra loderà le opere tue, e annunzieranno la tua potenza.
5 Yahweh, part the heavens and come down, touch the mountains, make them smoke.	5 Della magnificenza gloriosa della tua santità parleranno, e i tuoi portenti narreranno.
6 Scatter them with continuous lightning-flashes, rout them with a vol ey of your arrows.	6 La potenza delle tue geste tremende ridiranno, e la tua grandezza racconteranno.
7 Stretch down your hand from above, save me, rescue me from deep waters, from the clutches offoreigners,	7 Il ricordo della tua copiosa bontà proclamerannoe per la tua giustizia esulteranno.
8 whose every word is worthless, whose right hand is raised in perjury.	8 Clemente e misericordioso è il Signore, paziente e molto misericordioso.
9 God, I sing to you a new song, I play to you on the ten-stringed lyre,	9 Buono è il Signore per tutti e le sue misericordie [si stendon] su tutte le sue opere.
10 for you give kings their victories, you rescue your servant David. From the sword of evil	10 Ti celebrino, o Signore, tutte le tue opere, e i tuoi fedeli ti benedicano!
11 save me, rescue me from the clutches of foreigners whose every word is worthless, whose righthand testifies to falsehood.	11 La gloria del tuo nome diranno, e della tua potenza parleranno,
12 May our sons be like plants growing tal from their earliest days, our daughters like pil ars carved fitfor a palace,	12 per far note agli uomini le tue potenti geste e la gloria magnifica del tuo regno.
13 our barns fil ed to overflowing with every kind of crop, the sheep in our pastures be numbered inthousands and tens of thousands,	13 Il tuo regno è regno di tutti i secoli, e la tua dominazione [va] d'età in età. Fedele è il Signore in tutte le sue vie, e santo in tutte le sue opere.
14 our cattle wel fed, free of raids and pil age, free of outcry in our streets.	14 Sostiene il Signore tutti quei che cadonoe rialza tutti gli abbattuti.
15 How blessed the nation of whom this is true, blessed the nation whose God is Yahweh!	15 Gli occhi di tutti sperano in te, o Signore, e tu dài loro il nutrimento a suo tempo.
	16 Tu apri la tua mano e riempi ogni vivente di benedizione.
	17 Giusto è il Signore in tutte le sue vie e santo in tutte le sue opere.
	18 Vicino è il Signore a quanti l'invocano, a quanti l'invocano con sincerità.
	19 La volontà di quei che lo temono egli fa, e la loro supplica ascolta e li salva.
	20 Protegge il Signore tutti quei che lo amano, e tutti gli empi disperde.
	21 La lode del Signore proclamerà la mia bocca, e benedirà ogni carne il suo santo nomene' secoli, in eterno.
