Psalms 130

New Jerusalem Bible	Peshitta ܦܫܝܼܛܬܵܐ
¹ [Song of Ascents] From the depths I cal to you, Yahweh:	¹ ܡܢ ܥܘܡܩܐ ܩܪܝܬܟ ܡܪܝܐ
² Lord, hear my cry. Listen attentively to the sound of my pleading!	² ܘܫܡܥܬ ܒܩܠܝ ܢܗ̈ܘܝܢ ܐ̈ܕܢܝܟ ܨܝ̈ܬܢ ܠܩܠܐ ܕܟܘܫܦܝ
³ If you kept a record of our sins, Lord, who could stand their ground?	³ ܐܢ ܚ̈ܛܗܐ ܢܛܪ ܐܢܬ ܡܪܝܐ ܡܢܘ ܡܫܟܚ ܠܡܩܡ
⁴ But with you is forgiveness, that you may be revered.	⁴ ܡܛܠ ܕܡܢ ܠܘܬܟ ܗܘ ܫܘܒܩܢܐ
⁵ I rely, my whole being relies, Yahweh, on your promise.	⁵ ܣܒܪܬ ܒܡܪܝܐ ܘܣܟܝܬ ܢܦܫܝ ܠܡܠܬܗ ܣܟܝܬ
⁶ My whole being hopes in the Lord, more than watchmen for daybreak; more than watchmen fordaybreak	⁶ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܡܢ ܡܛܪܬܐ ܕܨܦܪܐ ܘܥܕܡܐ ܠܡܛܪܬܐ ܕܨܦܪܐ
⁷ let Israel hope in Yahweh. For with Yahweh is faithful love, with him generous ransom;	⁷ ܢܣܟܐ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܠܡܪܝܐ ܡܛܠ ܕܡܢ ܠܘܬܗ ܐܢܘܢ ܪ̈ܚܡܐ ܘܣܓܝ ܠܘܬܗ ܦܘܪܩܢܐ
⁸ and he wil ransom Israel from al its sins.	⁸ ܗܘ ܢܦܪܩܝܘܗܝ ܠܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܡܢ ܟܠܗ ܥܘܠܗ
