Psalms 130

NEW JERUSALEM	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 [Song of Ascents] From the depths I cal to you, Yahweh:	1 Cântico das peregrinações. Do fundo do abismo, clamo a vós, Senhor;
2 Lord, hear my cry. Listen attentively to the sound of my pleading!	2 Senhor, ouvi minha oração. Que vossos ouvidos estejam atentos à voz de minha súplica.
3 If you kept a record of our sins, Lord, who could stand their ground?	3 Se tiverdes em conta nossos pecados, Senhor, Senhor, quem poderá subsistir diante de vós?
4 But with you is forgiveness, that you may be revered.	4 Mas em vós se encontra o perdão dos pecados, para que, reverentes, vos sirvamos.
5 I rely, my whole being relies, Yahweh, on your promise.	5 Ponho a minha esperança no Senhor. Minha alma tem confiança em sua palavra.
6 My whole being hopes in the Lord, more than watchmen for daybreak; more than watchmen fordaybreak	6 Minha alma espera pelo Senhor, mais ansiosa do que os vigias pela manhã.
7 let Israel hope in Yahweh. For with Yahweh is faithful love, with him generous ransom;	7 Mais do que os vigias que aguardam a manhã, espere Israel pelo Senhor, porque junto ao Senhor se acha a misericórdia; encontra-se nele copiosa redenção.
8 and he wil ransom Israel from al its sins.	8 E ele mesmo há de remir Israel de todas as suas iniqüidades.
