Psalms 130

NEW JERUSALEM	STUTTGARTENSIA-DELITZSCH
1 [Song of Ascents] From the depths I cal to you, Yahweh:	1 שִׁיר הַמַּעֲלֹות מִמַּעֲמַקִּים קְרָאתִיךָ יְהוָה
2 Lord, hear my cry. Listen attentively to the sound of my pleading!	2 אֲדֹנָי שִׁמְעָה בְקֹולִי תִּהְיֶינָה אָזְנֶיךָ קַשֻּׁבֹות לְקֹול תַּחֲנוּנָי
3 If you kept a record of our sins, Lord, who could stand their ground?	3 אִם־עֲוֹנֹות תִּשְׁמָר־יָהּ אֲדֹנָי מִי יַעֲמֹד
4 But with you is forgiveness, that you may be revered.	4 כִּי־עִמְּךָ הַסְּלִיחָה לְמַעַן תִּוָּרֵא
5 I rely, my whole being relies, Yahweh, on your promise.	5 קִוִּיתִי יְהוָה קִוְּתָה נַפְשִׁי וְלִדְבָרֹו הֹוחָלְתִּי
6 My whole being hopes in the Lord, more than watchmen for daybreak; more than watchmen fordaybreak	6 נַפְשִׁי לַאדֹנָי מִשֹּׁמְרִים לַבֹּקֶר שֹׁמְרִים לַבֹּקֶר
7 let Israel hope in Yahweh. For with Yahweh is faithful love, with him generous ransom;	7 יַחֵל יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶל־יְהוָה כִּי־עִם־יְהוָה הַחֶסֶד וְהַרְבֵּה עִמֹּו פְדוּת
8 and he wil ransom Israel from al its sins.	8 וְהוּא יִפְדֶּה אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵל מִכֹּל עֲוֹנֹתָיו
