1 [Song of Ascents] From the depths I cal to you, Yahweh:	1 Zarándok-ének. A mélységből kiáltok hozzád, Uram!
2 Lord, hear my cry. Listen attentively to the sound of my pleading!	2 Uram, hallgasd meg szavamat! Legyen füled figyelmes hangos esedezésemre.
3 If you kept a record of our sins, Lord, who could stand their ground?	3 Uram, ha a vétkeket számon tartod, Uram, ki állhat meg előtted?
4 But with you is forgiveness, that you may be revered.	4 Hiszen tenálad a bocsánat, hogy féljünk téged.
5 I rely, my whole being relies, Yahweh, on your promise.	5 Benned bízom, Uram. Lelkem bízik az ő szavában; várja
6 My whole being hopes in the Lord, more than watchmen for daybreak; more than watchmen fordaybreak	6 lelkem az Urat, jobban, mint az őr a hajnalt. Jobban, mint az őr a hajnalt,
7 let Israel hope in Yahweh. For with Yahweh is faithful love, with him generous ransom;	7 várja Izrael az Urat, mert az Úrnál van az irgalom, és bőséges nála a szabadítás.
