1 [Song of Ascents] From the depths I cal to you, Yahweh:	1 Canto delle ascensioni. Dall'abisso a te grido, o Signore:
2 Lord, hear my cry. Listen attentively to the sound of my pleading!	2 Signore, ascolta la mia voce; siano attente le tue orecchie alla voce della mia preghiera.
3 If you kept a record of our sins, Lord, who could stand their ground?	3 Se le colpe tu consideri, o Signore, chi potrà sussistere?
4 But with you is forgiveness, that you may be revered.	4 Ma presso di te c'è il perdono in vista del tuo timore.
5 I rely, my whole being relies, Yahweh, on your promise.	5 Spero, Signore, spera l'anima mia; attendo la sua parola.
6 My whole being hopes in the Lord, more than watchmen for daybreak; more than watchmen fordaybreak	6 L'anima attende il Signore più che le sentinelle l'aurora.
7 let Israel hope in Yahweh. For with Yahweh is faithful love, with him generous ransom;	7 Attendi il Signore, o Israele, poiché con il Signore c'è la misericordia, abbondante è con lui la redenzione.
8 and he wil ransom Israel from al its sins.	8 Egli redimerà Israele da tutte le sue colpe.
