NEW JERUSALEM	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 [Song of Ascents] I lift up my eyes to the mountains; where is my help to come from?	1 Cântico das peregrinações. Para os montes levanto os olhos: de onde me virá socorro?
2 My help comes from Yahweh who made heaven and earth.	2 O meu socorro virá do Senhor, criador do céu e da terra.
3 May he save your foot from stumbling; may he, your guardian, not fall asleep!	3 Ele não permitirá que teus pés resvalem; não dormirá aquele que te guarda.
4 You see -- he neither sleeps nor slumbers, the guardian of Israel.	4 Não, não há de dormir, nem adormecer o guarda de Israel.
5 Yahweh is your guardian, your shade, Yahweh, at your right hand.	5 O Senhor é teu guarda, o Senhor é teu abrigo, sempre ao teu lado.
6 By day the sun will not strike you, nor the moon by night.	6 De dia, o sol não te fará mal; nem a lua durante a noite.
7 Yahweh guards you from al harm Yahweh guards your life,	7 O Senhor te resguardará de todo o mal; ele velará sobre tua alma.
8 Yahweh guards your comings and goings, henceforth and for ever.	8 O Senhor guardará os teus passos, agora e para todo o sempre.
