1 Al eluia! Give thanks to Yahweh for he is good, for his faithful love endures for ever.	1 Rendete grazie al Signore perché è buono,perché il suo amore è per sempre.
2 Let the House of Israel say, 'His faithful love endures for ever.'	2 Dica Israele:«Il suo amore è per sempre».
3 Let the House of Aaron say, 'His faithful love endures for ever.'	3 Dica la casa di Aronne:«Il suo amore è per sempre».
4 Let those who fear Yahweh say, 'His faithful love endures for ever.'	4 Dicano quelli che temono il Signore:«Il suo amore è per sempre».
5 In my distress I called to Yahweh, he heard me and brought me relief.	5 Nel pericolo ho gridato al Signore:mi ha risposto, il Signore, e mi ha tratto in salvo.
6 With Yahweh on my side I fear nothing; what can human beings do to me?	6 Il Signore è per me, non avrò timore:che cosa potrà farmi un uomo?
7 With Yahweh on my side as my help, I gloat over my enemies.	7 Il Signore è per me, è il mio aiuto,e io guarderò dall’alto i miei nemici.
8 It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to rely on human beings;	8 È meglio rifugiarsi nel Signoreche confidare nell’uomo.
9 better to take refuge in Yahweh than to rely on princes.	9 È meglio rifugiarsi nel Signoreche confidare nei potenti.
10 Nations were swarming around me, in the name of Yahweh I cut them down;	10 Tutte le nazioni mi hanno circondato,ma nel nome del Signore le ho distrutte.
11 they swarmed around me, pressing upon me, in the name of Yahweh I cut them down.	11 Mi hanno circondato, mi hanno accerchiato,ma nel nome del Signore le ho distrutte.
12 They swarmed around me like bees, they flared up like a brushwood fire, in the name of Yahweh Icut them down.	12 Mi hanno circondato come api,come fuoco che divampa tra i rovi,ma nel nome del Signore le ho distrutte.
13 I was pushed hard, to make me fal , but Yahweh came to my help.	13 Mi avevano spinto con forza per farmi cadere,ma il Signore è stato il mio aiuto.
14 Yahweh is my strength and my song, he has been my Saviour.	14 Mia forza e mio canto è il Signore,egli è stato la mia salvezza.
15 Shouts of joy and salvation, in the tents of the upright, 'Yahweh's right hand is triumphant,	15 Grida di giubilo e di vittorianelle tende dei giusti:la destra del Signore ha fatto prodezze,
16 Yahweh's right hand is victorious, Yahweh's right hand is triumphant!'	16 la destra del Signore si è innalzata,la destra del Signore ha fatto prodezze.
17 I shal not die, I shal live to recount the great deeds of Yahweh.	17 Non morirò, ma resterò in vitae annuncerò le opere del Signore.
18 Though Yahweh punished me sternly, he has not abandoned me to death.	18 Il Signore mi ha castigato duramente,ma non mi ha consegnato alla morte.
19 Open for me the gates of saving justice, I shal go in and thank Yahweh.	19 Apritemi le porte della giustizia:vi entrerò per ringraziare il Signore.
20 This is the gate of Yahweh, where the upright go in.	20 È questa la porta del Signore:per essa entrano i giusti.
21 I thank you for hearing me, and making yourself my Saviour.	21 Ti rendo grazie, perché mi hai risposto,perché sei stato la mia salvezza.
22 The stone which the builders rejected has become the cornerstone;	22 La pietra scartata dai costruttoriè divenuta la pietra d’angolo.
23 This is Yahweh's doing, and we marvel at it.	23 Questo è stato fatto dal Signore:una meraviglia ai nostri occhi.
24 This is the day which Yahweh has made, a day for us to rejoice and be glad.	24 Questo è il giorno che ha fatto il Signore:rallegriamoci in esso ed esultiamo!
25 We beg you, Yahweh, save us, we beg you, Yahweh, give us victory!	25 Ti preghiamo, Signore: dona la salvezza!Ti preghiamo, Signore: dona la vittoria!
26 Blessed in the name of Yahweh is he who is coming! We bless you from the house of Yahweh.	26 Benedetto colui che viene nel nome del Signore.Vi benediciamo dalla casa del Signore.
27 Yahweh is God, he gives us light. Link your processions, branches in hand, up to the horns of thealtar.	27 Il Signore è Dio, egli ci illumina.Formate il corteo con rami frondosifino agli angoli dell’altare.
28 You are my God, I thank you, al praise to you, my God. I thank you for hearing me, and makingyourself my Saviour.	28 Sei tu il mio Dio e ti rendo grazie,sei il mio Dio e ti esalto.
29 Give thanks to Yahweh for he is good, for his faithful love endures for ever.	29 Rendete grazie al Signore, perché è buono,perché il suo amore è per sempre.
