Exodus 35

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Moses assembled the whole community of Israelites and said, 'These are the things Yahweh hasordered to be done:	1 Moisés reunió a toda la comunidad de los israelitas y les dijo: El Señor ha mandado hacer lo siguiente:
2 Work must be done for six days, but the seventh must be a holy day for you, a day of complete rest, inhonour of Yahweh. Anyone who does any work on that day wil be put to death.	2 Durante seis días se trabajará, pero el séptimo día será para ustedes una cosa sagrada, un día de descanso solemne en honor del Señor. El que trabaje ese día será castigado con la muerte.
3 You will not light a fire on the Sabbath day in any of your homes.'	3 Tampoco encenderán fuego en sus casas el día sábado.
4 Moses spoke to the whole community of Israelites. 'This', he said, 'is what Yahweh has ordered:	4 Luego Moisés dijo a toda la comunidad de los israelitas: El Señor ha ordenado lo siguiente:
5 Set aside a contribution for Yahweh out of your possessions. Everyone whose heart prompts him to doso should bring a contribution for Yahweh: gold, silver and bronze;	5 Reserven una parte de sus bienes para presentarlos como ofrenda al Señor. Todo el que se sienta impulsado a hacerlo, ofrecerá al Señor: oro, plata y bronce;
6 materials dyed violet-purple, red-purple and crimson, finely woven linen, goats' hair,	6 púrpura violeta y escarlata, carmesí, lino fino, pelo de cabra,
7 rams' skins dyed red, fine leather, acacia wood,	7 cueros de carnero teñidos de rojo, pieles finas y madera de acacia;
8 oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense;	8 aceite para las lámparas, especies aromáticas para el óleo de la unción y para el incienso perfumado,
9 cornelian and other stones to be set in the ephod and breastplate.	9 piedras de lapislázuli y piedras de engasta para el efod y el pectoral.
10 And al those of you who have the skil must come and make everything that Yahweh has ordered:	10 Que los artesanos competentes vengan a ejecutar todo lo que el Señor ha ordenado:
11 the Dwel ing, its tent and its covering, its clasps and its frames, its crossbars, its pillars and itssockets;	11 la Morada, su carpa y su cobertura, sus ganchos, sus bastidores,, sus travesaños, sus columnas y sus bases;
12 the ark, its shafts and al its accessories, the mercy-seat and the screening curtain;	12 el arca con sus andas, la tapa y el velo que los protege;
13 the table, its shafts and al its accessories, and the loaves of permanent offering;	13 la mesa con sus andas, todos sus utensilios y los panes de la ofrenda;
14 the lamp-stand for the light, its accessories, its lamps, and the oil for the light;	14 el candelabro con sus accesorios y sus lámparas, y el aceite para las lámparas;
15 the altar of incense and its shafts, the anointing oil, the fragrant incense, and the screen for theentrance, for the entrance of the tent;	15 el altar de los perfumes con sus andas, el óleo de la unción y el incienso perfumado; la cortina para la entrada de la Morada;
16 the altar of burnt offerings and its bronze grating, its shafts, and all its accessories; the basin and itsstand;	16 el altar de los holocaustos con su enrejado de bronce, sus andas y todos sus enseres; la fuente para las abluciones con su base;
17 the curtaining for the court, its poles, its sockets, and the screen for the entrance to the court;	17 las cortinas del atrio con sus columnas y sus bases; el cortinado de la entrada del atrio;
18 the pegs for the Dwel ing and the pegs for the court, and their cords;	18 las estacas de la Morada y las estacas del atrio con sus respectivas cuerdas;
19 the liturgical vestments for service in the sanctuary -- the sacred vestments for Aaron the priest, andthe vestments for his sons, for their priestly functions.'	19 las vestiduras litúrgicas para oficiar en el Santuario, o sea, las vestiduras sagradas para el sacerdote Aarón y las que usarán sus hijos para las funciones sacerdotales.
20 The whole community of Israelites then withdrew from Moses' presence.	20 Toda la comunidad de los israelitas se alejó de la presencia de Moisés.
21 And al those whose heart stirred them and al those whose spirit prompted them brought acontribution for Yahweh, for the work on the Tent of Meeting, for its general service and for the sacredvestments.	21 Después vinieron los que se sintieron movidos por un impulso generoso, y trajeron al Señor una ofrenda para la construcción de la Carpa del Encuentro, para su servicio cultual y para sus vestiduras sagradas.
22 Men and women, they came, al those whose heart prompted them, bringing brooches, rings,bracelets, necklaces, golden objects of every kind -- all those who had vowed gold to Yahweh,	22 Así acudieron generosamente hombres y mujeres, trayendo argollas, anillos, pulseras, collares y objetos de oro de toda clase; en una palabra, todos los que ofrecían al Señor un presente de oro.
23 while al those who happened to own violet-purple, red-purple or crimson materials, finely wovenlinen, goats' hair, rams' skins dyed red, or fine leather, brought that.	23 Lo mismo hicieron los que poseían púrpura violeta y escarlata, carmesí, lino fino, pelo de cabra, cueros de carnero teñidos de rojo y pieles finas.
24 Al those offering a contribution of silver or bronze brought their contribution for Yahweh and al whohappened to own acacia wood, suitable for any of the work to be done, brought that.	24 Los que podían aportar objetos de plata y bronce, los llevaban al Señor como ofrenda; y los que poseían madera de acacia utilizable para la ejecución del trabajo, también la traían.
25 Al the skil ed women set their hands to spinning, and brought what they had spun: violet-purple, red-purple or crimson materials, and fine linen,	25 Todas las mujeres que tenían habilidad para ello, hilaron con sus manos y trajeron hilados de púrpura violeta y escarlata, de carmesí y de lino fino;
26 while al those women whose heart stirred them by virtue of their skil , spun goats' hair.	26 y otras mujeres habilidosas se ofrecieron generosamente para hilar el pelo de cabra.
27 The leaders brought cornelians and other stones to be set in the ephod and breastplate,	27 Los principales del pueblo contribuyeron con piedras de lapislázuli, con piedras de engaste para el efod y el pectoral,
28 and the spices and oil for the light, for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense.	28 y con especies aromáticas y aceite para las lámparas, para el óleo de la unción y el incienso perfumado.
29 Al those Israelites, men and women, whose heart prompted them to contribute to the entire work thatYahweh had ordered through Moses to be done, brought a contribution to Yahweh.	29 De esta manera, llevados por un impulso generoso, hombres y mujeres presentaron su ofrenda voluntaria para la ejecución de todos los trabajos que el Señor había prescrito a los israelitas, par intermedio de Moisés.
30 Moses then said to the Israelites, 'Look, Yahweh has singled out Bezalel son of Uri, son of Hur, of thetribe of Judah,	30 Entonces Moisés dijo a los israelitas: «El Señor ha designado especialmente a Besalel –hijo de Urí, hijo de Jur, de la tribu de Judá–
31 and has filled him with the spirit of God in wisdom, knowledge and skil in every kind of craft:	31 y lo ha llenado del espíritu de Dios, a fin de conferirle habilidad, talento y experiencia en la ejecución de toda clase de trabajos,
32 in designing and carrying out work in gold and silver and bronze,	32 tanto para idear proyectos, como para trabajar el oro, la plata y el bronce,
33 in cutting stones to be set, in wood carving and in executing every kind of work.	33 labrar piedras de engaste, tallar la madera o ejecutar cualquier otra labor de artesanía.
34 And on him and on Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, he has bestowed the gift ofteaching,	34 Además le ha concedido –lo mismo que a Oholiab, hijo de Ajisamac, de la tribu de Dan– el arte de comunicar sus conocimientos.
35 and filled them with the skill to carry out every kind of work, that of the engraver, that of theembroiderer, that of the needleworker in violet-purple, red-purple and crimson materials and fine linen, that of theweaver, and indeed that of every kind of craftsman and designer.'	35 El Señor los llenó de habilidad para realizar labores de orfebrería, de tejido, de bordado y recamado de telas de púrpura violeta y escarlata, de carmesí y de lino fino. Y no sólo son capaces de ejecutar todas estas tareas, sino que también tienen espíritu de inventiva».
