NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 They brought the ark of God in and put it inside the tent which David had erected for it, and broughtburnt offerings and made communion sacrifices in God's presence.	1 Così l'arca di Dio fu introdotta e collocata in mezzo alla tenda che Davide aveva eretto per essa, poi furono offerti olocausti e sacrifici pacifici dinanzi a Dio.
2 And when David had finished making burnt offerings and communion sacrifices, he blessed thepeople in the name of Yahweh.	2 Quando Davide ebbe finito di offrire gli olocausti e i sacrifici pacifici, benedisse il popolo nel nome del Signore
3 To all the Israelites, both men and women, to each, he then distributed a loaf of bread, a portion ofmeat and a raisin cake.	3 e distribuì singolarmente a tutti gli Israeliti, uomini e donne, una pagnotta di pane, carne arrostita e una schiacciata di uva passa.
4 He appointed some of the Levites as ministers before the ark of Yahweh, to extol, glorify and praiseYahweh, God of Israel;	4 Egli stabilì che alcuni leviti stessero davanti all'arca di Dio, come ministri per celebrare, glorificare e lodare il Signore, Dio d'Israele:

8 Give thanks to Yahweh, call his name aloud, proclaim his deeds to the peoples.	8 "Celebrate il Signore, invocate il suo nome; fate conoscere tra i popoli le sue gesta!
9 Chant to him, play to him, sing about al his wonders!	9 Cantate a lui, inneggiate in suo onore, narrate tutte le sue meraviglie.
10 Take pride in his holy name, let your heart rejoice, you seekers of Yahweh!	10 Gloriatevi nel suo nome santo, si rallegri il cuore di quanti cercano il Signore.
11 Seek out Yahweh, seek his strength, continual y seek out his presence!	11 Cercate il Signore e la sua potenza, ricercate il suo volto continuamente.
12 Remember what wonders he has done, what miracles, what rulings he has given,	12 Ricordate le meraviglie che egli operò, i prodigi e le sentenze della sua bocca,
13 you offspring of Israel his servant, you children of Jacob his chosen one!	13 progenie di Israele, suo servo, figli di Giacobbe, suoi eletti!
14 For he is Yahweh our God, his authority extends throughout the world.	14 Egli, il Signore, è il nostro Dio, su tutta la terra sono i suoi giudizi.
15 For ever remember his covenant, the pact imposed for a thousand generations,	15 Ricordatevi sempre della sua alleanza, della parola che ordinò per mille generazioni,
16 which he concluded with Abraham, which was sworn by him to Isaac,	16 dell'alleanza stipulata con Abramo, del suo giuramento fatto ad Isacco,
17 since he confirmed it as a law for Jacob, as an eternal covenant for Israel,	17 che stabilì per Giacobbe come uno statuto e per Israele come un'alleanza eterna,
18 saying, 'I wil give you the country; Canaan is the measure of your inheritance,	18 dicendo: "A te darò il paese di Canaan come porzione della vostra eredità,
19 'though you are few in number, only a few strangers there!'	19 per quanto siate pochi di numero, pochi e inoltre stranieri nel paese".
20 As they wandered from nation to nation, from this kingdom to that people,	20 Passarono da una nazione all'altra e da un regno a un altro popolo.
21 he would not let anyone oppress them and on their account he admonished kings,	21 Non permise che alcuno li opprimesse, anzi per causa loro punì dei re:
22 'You are not to touch my anointed ones, my prophets are not to be harmed!'	22 "Non toccate i miei consacrati, e non fate del male ai miei profeti".
23 Sing to Yahweh, all the earth, day after day proclaim his salvation!	23 Canta al Signore, terra intera, annuncia di giorno in giorno la sua salvezza!
24 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvels to every people!	24 Proclama fra le nazioni la sua gloria, fra tutti i popoli i suoi prodigi.
25 Great is Yahweh, worthy of all praise, more awesome than any of the gods.	25 Sì, il Signore è grande e degnissimo di lode, tremendo sopra tutti gli dèi,
26 Nothingness, al the gods of the nations. Yahweh it was who made the heavens,	26 poiché tutti gli dèi delle genti sono un nulla, mentre il Signore ha fatto i cieli.
27 in his presence are splendour and majesty, in his sanctuary strength and joy.	27 Splendore e maestà stanno davanti a lui, potenza e gioia nel suo santuario.
28 Give Yahweh his due, families of peoples, give Yahweh his due of glory and power,	28 Rendete al Signore, o famiglie dei popoli, rendete al Signore gloria e potenza!
29 give Yahweh the glory due to his name! Bring an offering and enter his courts, bow down to Yahwehin his sacred court,	29 Rendete al Signore la gloria del suo nome, portate offerte e venite al suo cospetto! Adorate il Signore in ornamenti sacri!
30 tremble before him, al the earth! The world is firm, it cannot be moved,	30 Trema davanti a lui, o terra tutta, egli rende stabile il mondo così che non vacilli.
31 let the heavens rejoice and earth be glad! Say among the nations, 'Yahweh is king!'	31 Si rallegrino i cieli ed esulti la terra, e dicano fra le nazioni: "Il Signore regna!".
32 Let the sea thunder and al it holds, the countryside exult and everything that is in it,	32 Frema il mare e ciò che lo riempie, tripudi la campagna con quanto contiene!
33 and al the trees of the forest cry out for joy at Yahweh's approach, for he is coming to judge theearth.	33 Allora giubileranno gli alberi della foresta di fronte al Signore che viene, per giudicare la terra.
34 Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his faithful love lasts for ever!	34 Celebrate il Signore, perché egli è buono, perché eterna è la sua bontà.
35 Say, 'Save us, God of our salvation, gather us together and free us from the nations, so that we maygive thanks to your holy name -- to be extolled whenever you are praised!'	35 Dite: "Salvaci, o Dio della nostra salvezza; raccoglici e liberaci dalle nazioni, perché possiamo celebrare il santo tuo nome, e gloriarci della tua lode.
36 Blessed be Yahweh, God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting! To which all the people said,'Amen, Al eluia!'	36 Benedetto il Signore Dio d'Israele di eternità in eternità". E tutto il popolo disse: "Amen, alleluia".
37 There before the ark of the covenant of Yahweh David left Asaph and his kinsmen to maintain apermanent ministry before the ark as each day's ritual required,	37 Quindi Davide lasciò lì, davanti all'arca dell'alleanza del Signore, Asaf ed i suoi fratelli, perché officiassero davanti all'arca continuamente secondo il rito quotidiano;
38 and also Obed-Edom with his sixty-eight kinsmen. Obed-Edom son of Jeduthun, and Hosah weregatekeepers.	38 lasciò anche Obed-Edom con i suoi fratelli, in numero di sessantotto. Obed-Edom, figlio di Idutun, e Cosà come portieri.
39 Zadok the priest and the priests, his kinsmen, he left before the dwelling of Yahweh on the high placeat Gibeon	39 Al sacerdote Zadòk insieme ai suoi fratelli sacerdoti affidò il servizio della dimora del Signore che era sull'altura di Gabaon,
40 to bring burnt offerings to Yahweh unfailingly, morning and evening, on the altar of burnt offering, andto carry out al that is written in the Law of Yahweh laid down for Israel.	40 perché offrissero olocausti al Signore sull'altare degli olocausti, continuamente mattina e sera, secondo quanto è scritto nella legge che il Signore aveva ordinato ad Israele.
41 With them were Heman and Jeduthun and the rest of those who were chosen and assigned by nameto give thanks to Yahweh, 'for his faithful love lasts for ever'.	41 Con loro erano Eman, Idutun e gli altri eletti che erano stati designati per nome per lodare il Signore, "perché eterna è la sua bontà".
42 With them were Heman and Jeduthun to play trumpets and cymbals, as wel as instruments foraccompanying sacred song. 43 Then al the people went back to their homes, and David went back to bless his household.	43 Infine tutto il popolo fece ritorno nella propria casa; e Davide ritornò per benedire la sua casa.
