1 They brought the ark of God in and put it inside the tent which David had erected for it, and broughtburnt offerings and made communion sacrifices in God's presence.	1 Portarono adunque l'arca di Dio, e la collocarono in mezzo al tabernacolo eretto da Davidde, e offersero olocausti, e ostie pacifiche dinanzi Dio.
2 And when David had finished making burnt offerings and communion sacrifices, he blessed thepeople in the name of Yahweh.	2 E quando Davidde ebbe finito di offerire gli olocausti, e le ostie pacifiche, benedisse il popolo nel nome del Signore.
3 To all the Israelites, both men and women, to each, he then distributed a loaf of bread, a portion ofmeat and a raisin cake.	3 E distribuì a tutti, uomini, e donne, una porzione di pane, e un pezzo di carne di bue arrostita, e della farina fritta coll'olio.
4 He appointed some of the Levites as ministers before the ark of Yahweh, to extol, glorify and praiseYahweh, God of Israel;	4 E pose in istazione dinanzi all'arca del Signore un numero di Leviti, i quali esercitassero il lor ministero, e facessero commemorazione delle opere di lui, e glorificassero, e laudassero il Signore Dio d'Israele.
5 first Asaph, second Zechariah, then Uzziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-Edom and Jeiel, who played the lyre and harp, while Asaph played the cymbals.	5 Asaph il primo, e dopo di lui Zacharia; e poi Jahiel, e Semiramoth, e Jehiel, e Mathathia, ed Eliab, e Banaia, e Obededom: Jehiel per sonare i salteri, e le lire: e Asaph per sonare i cimbali:
6 The priests Benaiah and Jahaziel continually blew the trumpet before the ark of the covenant of God.	6 E Banaia, e Jaziel sacerdoti per sonare in ogni tempo la tromba dinanzi all'arca del testamento del Signore.
7 On that day, David was the first to assign to Asaph and his kinsmen the giving of thanks to Yahweh:	7 In quel giorno David fece Asaph primo cantore per lodare il Signore, e con lui i suoi fratelli.
8 Give thanks to Yahweh, call his name aloud, proclaim his deeds to the peoples.	8 Date lode al Signore, e invocate il suo nome: annunziate le opere di lui alle genti.
9 Chant to him, play to him, sing about al his wonders!	9 Cantate le lodi di lui al suono degli stromenti: e raccontate tutte le sue meraviglie.
10 Take pride in his holy name, let your heart rejoice, you seekers of Yahweh!	10 Laudate il santo nome di lui: il cuore di que', che cercano il Signore, sia nell'allegrezza.
11 Seek out Yahweh, seek his strength, continual y seek out his presence!	11 Cercate il Signore, e la sua virtù: cercate mai sempre la sua presenza.
12 Remember what wonders he has done, what miracles, what rulings he has given,	12 Ricordatevi delle meraviglie operate da lui: de' suoi prodigi, e de' giudizi, ch'ei pronunziò di sua bocca.
13 you offspring of Israel his servant, you children of Jacob his chosen one!	13 Figliuoli d'Israele suo servo: figliuoli di Giacobbe suo favorito.
14 For he is Yahweh our God, his authority extends throughout the world.	14 Egli è il Signore Dio nostro: egli fa giudizio di tutta quanta la terra.
15 For ever remember his covenant, the pact imposed for a thousand generations,	15 Ricordatevi eternamente del suo patto: della parola intimata da lui per mille generazioni.
16 which he concluded with Abraham, which was sworn by him to Isaac,	16 (Della parola) stipulata da lui con Abramo: del giuramento fatto da lui a Isacco.
17 since he confirmed it as a law for Jacob, as an eternal covenant for Israel,	17 Egli lo stabilì qual legge per Giacobbe, e come patto eterno per Israele,
18 saying, 'I wil give you the country; Canaan is the measure of your inheritance,	18 Dicendo: Io ti darò la terra di Chanaan, che sarà vostro retaggio.
19 'though you are few in number, only a few strangers there!'	19 Mentre eglino eran pochi di numero, piccolini, e in essa stranieri.
20 As they wandered from nation to nation, from this kingdom to that people,	20 E andavan pellegrinando d'unin altra nazione, e da un regno ad un'altro popolo.
21 he would not let anyone oppress them and on their account he admonished kings,	21 Ei non permise, che alcuno gl'inquietasse, e per causa loro punì dei re.
22 'You are not to touch my anointed ones, my prophets are not to be harmed!'	22 Non toccate gli unti miei: e nonfate torto a' miei profeti.
23 Sing to Yahweh, all the earth, day after day proclaim his salvation!	23 Canta, o terra, per ogni parte laude al Signore: annunziate ogni giorno la sua salute.
24 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvels to every people!	24 Notificate la sua gloria alle genti e a tutti i popoli le sue meraviglie;
25 Great is Yahweh, worthy of all praise, more awesome than any of the gods.	25 Perocché grande egli è il Signore, e degno infinitamente di lode: ed egli è da temersi sopra tutti gli dei.
26 Nothingness, al the gods of the nations. Yahweh it was who made the heavens,	26 Conciossiachè tutti gli dei dellegenti son simolacri: ma il Signore creò il cielo.
27 in his presence are splendour and majesty, in his sanctuary strength and joy.	27 Egli è attorniato di gloria, e di grandezza: la fortezza, e il gaudio si trova nel luogo, dov'ei risiede.
28 Give Yahweh his due, families of peoples, give Yahweh his due of glory and power,	28 Offerite al Signore, o famiglie delle nazioni, offerite al Signore la gloria, e l'impero.
29 give Yahweh the glory due to his name! Bring an offering and enter his courts, bow down to Yahwehin his sacred court,	29 Offerite al Signore la gloria, che è dovuta al suo nome: presentategli sagrifizi, e venite al suo cospetto, e adorate il Signore nel magnifico suo Santuario.
30 tremble before him, al the earth! The world is firm, it cannot be moved,	30 Alla presenza di lui si ponga in moto tutta la terra: perchè egli diede all'universo stabili fondamenti.
31 let the heavens rejoice and earth be glad! Say among the nations, 'Yahweh is king!'	31 Siano in letizia i cieli, ed esulti la terra: ridicasi tralle nazioni: Il Signore è venuto nel suo reame.
32 Let the sea thunder and al it holds, the countryside exult and everything that is in it,	32 Romoreggi il mare, e tutte le cose, ch'egli contiene: esultino le campagne, e ciò, che in esse si trova.
33 and al the trees of the forest cry out for joy at Yahweh's approach, for he is coming to judge theearth.	33 Allor sarà, che le piante della foresta intuoneranno laude dinanzi al Signore: perchè egli è venuto a giudicare la terra.
34 Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his faithful love lasts for ever!	34 Date gloria al Signore, perchè egli è buono; perchè la misericordia di lui è in eterno.
35 Say, 'Save us, God of our salvation, gather us together and free us from the nations, so that we maygive thanks to your holy name -- to be extolled whenever you are praised!'	35 E dite: Salvaci, o Dio Salvator nostro, e insieme raccoglici, di mezzo traendoci delle nazioni, affinchè diamo gloria al santo tuo nome, ed esultiamo cantando i tuoi inni.
36 Blessed be Yahweh, God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting! To which all the people said,'Amen, Al eluia!'	36 Benedetto il Signore Dio d'Israele dall'eternità fino all'eternità: e tutto il popolo dica: Amen; e canti inno al Signore.
37 There before the ark of the covenant of Yahweh David left Asaph and his kinsmen to maintain apermanent ministry before the ark as each day's ritual required,	37 Davidde adunque lasciò ivi dinanzi all'arca del testamento del Signore Asaph, e i suoi fratelli, perchè adempissero di continuo il lor ministero dinanzi all'arca di per di, secondo il lor turno.
38 and also Obed-Edom with his sixty-eight kinsmen. Obed-Edom son of Jeduthun, and Hosah weregatekeepers.	38 Obededom poi, e i suoi fratelli (in numero di sessantotto), e Obededom tagliuolo d'Idithun, e Hosa li fece portinai.
39 Zadok the priest and the priests, his kinsmen, he left before the dwelling of Yahweh on the high placeat Gibeon	39 E pose Sadoc Sacerdote, e i sacerdoti suoi fratelli al servigio del tabernacolo del Signore, che era nel luogo eccelso di Gabaon,
40 to bring burnt offerings to Yahweh unfailingly, morning and evening, on the altar of burnt offering, andto carry out al that is written in the Law of Yahweh laid down for Israel.	40 Affinchè offerissero continuamente, mattina, e sera, olocausti sopra l'altare degli olocausti, eseguendo appuntino tutto quello, che sta scritto nella legge del Signore prescritta ad Israele;
41 With them were Heman and Jeduthun and the rest of those who were chosen and assigned by nameto give thanks to Yahweh, 'for his faithful love lasts for ever'.	41 E dopo lui Heman, e Idithun, e gli altri, che erano stati scelti, e notati pe' loro nomi a cantar laude al Signore, la misericordia del quale è eterna.
42 With them were Heman and Jeduthun to play trumpets and cymbals, as wel as instruments foraccompanying sacred song. The sons of Jeduthun were in charge of the gates.	42 E lo stesso Heman, e Idithun sonavano la tromba, e toccavano i cimbali, e tutti i musicali strumenti, cantando inni al Signore. I figliuoli poi d'Idithun li fece portinaj.
43 Then al the people went back to their homes, and David went back to bless his household.	43 E tutto il popolo se ne tornò alle case loro, come pur fece David, affin di benedire la sua casa.
