1 The LORD is king; let the earth rejoice; let the many islands be glad.	1 Salmo di David. Cantate al Signore il novo canto; per che le maraviglie ha fatto. Egli ha salvato a sè la sua destra, e il braccio santo suo.
2 Cloud and darkness surround the Lord; justice and right are the foundation of his throne.	2 Ha manifestato il Signore il suo Salvatore; nel conspetto delle genti ha revelato la giustizia sua.
3 Fire goes before him; everywhere it consumes the foes.	3 Hassi ricordato della sua misericordia e verità, e della casa d'Israel. Videro tutti gli termini della terra il Salvatore del Dio nostro.
4 Lightning illumines the world; the earth sees and trembles.	4 Giubilate a Dio, ogni terra; cantate, rallegratevi e salmizzate.
5 The mountains melt like wax before the LORD, before the Lord of all the earth.	5 Lodate il Signore nella citara, con la voce del salmo,
6 The heavens proclaim God's justice; all peoples see his glory.	6 con tube e con voce di tuba cornea. Giubilate al Signore nel cospetto del re;
7 All who serve idols are put to shame, who glory in worthless things; all gods bow down before you.	7 movasi il mare, e la sua plenitudine; il circuito della terra, e ognuno che abita in essa.
8 Zion hears and is glad, and the cities of Judah rejoice because of your judgments, O LORD.	8 Faccino festa con mano li fiumi, insieme i monti s'allegrino
9 You, LORD, are the Most High over all the earth, exalted far above all gods.	9 dalla faccia del Signore; pero ch' egli è venuto a giudicare la terra. Giudicarà il circuito della terra nella giustizia, e li popoli nella equità.
10 The LORD loves those who hate evil, protects the lives of the faithful, rescues them from the hand of the wicked.
11 Light dawns for the just; gladness, for the honest of heart.
12 Rejoice in the LORD, you just, and praise his holy name.
