1 The LORD is king; let the earth rejoice; let the many islands be glad.	1 Király az Úr! Ujjongjon a föld, örvendezzék a temérdek sziget!
2 Cloud and darkness surround the Lord; justice and right are the foundation of his throne.	2 Felhő és homály van körülötte, igazság és jog trónjának alapja.
3 Fire goes before him; everywhere it consumes the foes.	3 Tűz halad előtte, s körös-körül felperzseli ellenségeit.
4 Lightning illumines the world; the earth sees and trembles.	4 Villámai beragyogják a föld kerekségét, láttára megrendül a föld.
5 The mountains melt like wax before the LORD, before the Lord of all the earth.	5 Viaszként olvadoznak a hegyek az Úr előtt, az egész föld Ura előtt.
6 The heavens proclaim God's justice; all peoples see his glory.	6 Az egek hirdetik igazságát, minden nemzet látja dicsőségét.
7 All who serve idols are put to shame, who glory in worthless things; all gods bow down before you.	7 Jussanak szégyenbe mindazok, akik faragott képeket imádnak, és bálványaikkal kérkednek. Imádjátok őt, angyalai mind!
8 Zion hears and is glad, and the cities of Judah rejoice because of your judgments, O LORD.	8 Hallja ezt Sion és örvendezik, és ujjonganak Júda leányai ítéleteiden, Uram.
9 You, LORD, are the Most High over all the earth, exalted far above all gods.	9 Mert te vagy, Uram, a legfölségesebb az egész földön, messze magasan állsz minden isten fölött.
10 The LORD loves those who hate evil, protects the lives of the faithful, rescues them from the hand of the wicked.	10 Akik szeretitek az Urat, gyűlöljétek a rosszat; szentjeinek lelkét megőrzi, a gonoszok kezéből megszabadítja őket.
11 Light dawns for the just; gladness, for the honest of heart.	11 Világosság támad az igaznak, s öröm az igazszívűeknek.
12 Rejoice in the LORD, you just, and praise his holy name.	12 Örvendezzetek, igazak, az Úrban, és dicsérjétek szent emlékezetét!
