1 The LORD is king; let the earth rejoice; let the many islands be glad.	1 - Salmo di David. Cantate al Signore un cantico nuovo, poichè maraviglie egli ha operato. Salvezza [e trionfo] gli procacciò la sua destrae il suo braccio santo.
2 Cloud and darkness surround the Lord; justice and right are the foundation of his throne.	2 Manifesta ha reso il Signore la sua salvezzaal cospetto delle genti: ha rivelato la sua giustizia.
3 Fire goes before him; everywhere it consumes the foes.	3 S'è ricordato della sua bontà e fedeltàper la casa d'Israele. Han visto tutti i confini della terrala salvezza del nostro Dio.
4 Lightning illumines the world; the earth sees and trembles.	4 Giubilanti acclamate Iddio, o [abitatori della] terra tutta, cantate, esultate e inneggiate.
5 The mountains melt like wax before the LORD, before the Lord of all the earth.	5 Inneggiate al Signore con la cetra, con la cetra e con voce di cantico.
6 The heavens proclaim God's justice; all peoples see his glory.	6 Con le duttili trombe e il suono del cornogiubilate al cospetto del Re Signore!
7 All who serve idols are put to shame, who glory in worthless things; all gods bow down before you.	7 Si commuova il mare e quanto contiene, il mondo e quei che vi abitano.
8 Zion hears and is glad, and the cities of Judah rejoice because of your judgments, O LORD.	8 I fiumi applaudan con le mani, esultino insieme i monti,
9 You, LORD, are the Most High over all the earth, exalted far above all gods.	9 dinanzi al Signore, poichè egli viene, [viene] a giudicar la terra. Giudicherà il mondo con giustiziae i popoli con equità.
10 The LORD loves those who hate evil, protects the lives of the faithful, rescues them from the hand of the wicked.
11 Light dawns for the just; gladness, for the honest of heart.
12 Rejoice in the LORD, you just, and praise his holy name.
