1 For the leader; with wind instruments. A psalm of David.	1 Del maestro de coro. Para flautas. Salmo. De David.
2 Hear my words, O LORD; listen to my sighing.	2 Escucha mis palabras, Yahveh, repara en mi lamento,
3 Hear my cry for help, my king, my God! To you I pray, O LORD;	3 atiende a la voz de mi clamor, oh mi Rey y mi Dios. Porque a ti te suplico,
4 at dawn you will hear my cry; at dawn I will plead before you and wait.	4 Yahveh; ya de mañana oyes mi voz; de mañana te presento mi súplica, y me quedo a la espera.
5 You are not a god who delights in evil; no wicked person finds refuge with you;	5 Pues no eres tú un Dios que se complace en la impiedad, no es huésped tuyo el malo.
6 the arrogant cannot stand before you. You hate all who do evil;	6 No, los arrogantes no resisten delante de tus ojos. Detestas a todos los agentes de mal,
7 you destroy all who speak falsely. Murderers and deceivers the LORD abhors.	7 pierdes a los mentirosos; al hombre sanguinario y fraudulento le abomina Yahveh.
8 But I can enter your house because of your great love. I can worship in your holy temple because of my reverence for you, LORD.	8 Mas yo, por la abundancia de tu amor, entro en tu Casa; en tu santo Templo me prosterno, lleno de tu temor.
9 Guide me in your justice because of my foes; make straight your way before me.	9 Guíame, Yahveh, en tu justicia, por causa de los que me acechan, allana tu camino ante mí.
10 For there is no sincerity in their mouths; their hearts are corrupt. Their throats are open graves; on their tongues are subtle lies.	10 Que no hay en su boca lealtad, en su interior, tan sólo subversión; sepulcro abierto es su garganta, melosa muévese su lengua.
11 Declare them guilty, God; make them fall by their own devices. Drive them out for their many sins; they have rebelled against you.	11 Trátalos, oh Dios, como culpables, haz que fracasen sus intrigas; arrójalos por el exceso de sus crímenes, por rebelarse contra ti.
12 Then all who take refuge in you will be glad and forever shout for joy. Protect them that you may be the joy of those who love your name.	12 Y se alegren los que a ti se acogen, se alborocen por siempre; tú los proteges, en ti exultan los que aman tu nombre.
13 For you, LORD, bless the just; you surround them with favor like a shield.	13 Pues tú bendices al justo, Yahveh, como un gran escudo tu favor le cubre.
