1 Not to us, LORD, not to us but to your name give glory because of your faithfulness and love.	1 (113,9) Non a noi, Signore, non a noi,ma al tuo nome da’ gloria,per il tuo amore, per la tua fedeltà.
2 Why should the nations say, "Where is their God?"	2 (113,10) Perché le genti dovrebbero dire:«Dov’è il loro Dio?».
3 Our God is in heaven; whatever God wills is done.	3 (113,11) Il nostro Dio è nei cieli:tutto ciò che vuole, egli lo compie.
4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of human hands.	4 (113,12) I loro idoli sono argento e oro,opera delle mani dell’uomo.
5 They have mouths but do not speak, eyes but do not see.	5 (113,13) Hanno bocca e non parlano,hanno occhi e non vedono,
6 They have ears but do not hear, noses but do not smell.	6 (113,14) hanno orecchi e non odono,hanno narici e non odorano.
7 They have hands but do not feel, feet but do not walk, and no sound rises from their throats.	7 (113,15) Le loro mani non palpano,i loro piedi non camminano;dalla loro gola non escono suoni!
8 Their makers shall be like them, all who trust in them.	8 (113,16) Diventi come loro chi li fabbricae chiunque in essi confida!
9 The house of Israel trusts in the LORD, who is their help and shield.	9 (113,17) Israele, confida nel Signore:egli è loro aiuto e loro scudo.
10 The house of Aaron trusts in the LORD, who is their help and shield.	10 (113,18) Casa di Aronne, confida nel Signore:egli è loro aiuto e loro scudo.
11 Those who fear the LORD trust in the LORD, who is their help and shield.	11 (113,19) Voi che temete il Signore, confidate nel Signore:egli è loro aiuto e loro scudo.
12 The LORD remembers us and will bless us, will bless the house of Israel, will bless the house of Aaron,	12 (113,20) Il Signore si ricorda di noi, ci benedice:benedice la casa d’Israele,benedice la casa di Aronne.
13 Will bless those who fear the LORD, small and great alike.	13 (113,21) Benedice quelli che temono il Signore,i piccoli e i grandi.
14 May the LORD increase your number, you and your descendants.	14 (113,22) Vi renda numerosi il Signore,voi e i vostri figli.
15 May you be blessed by the LORD, who made heaven and earth.	15 (113,23) Siate benedetti dal Signore,che ha fatto cielo e terra.
16 The heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth is given to us.	16 (113,24) I cieli sono i cieli del Signore,ma la terra l’ha data ai figli dell’uomo.
17 The dead do not praise the LORD, all those gone down into silence.	17 (113,25) Non i morti lodano il Signorené quelli che scendono nel silenzio,
18 It is we who bless the LORD, both now and forever. Hallelujah!	18 (113,26) ma noi benediciamo il Signoreda ora e per sempre.Alleluia.
