Psalms 115

1 Not to us, LORD, not to us but to your name give glory because of your faithfulness and love.	1 ¡No a nosotros, Yahveh, no a nosotros, sino a tu nombre da la gloria, por tu amor, por tu verdad!
2 Why should the nations say, "Where is their God?"	2 ¿Por qué han de decir las gentes: «¿Dónde está su Dios?»
3 Our God is in heaven; whatever God wills is done.	3 Nuestro Dios está en los cielos, todo cuanto le place lo realiza.
4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of human hands.	4 Plata y oro son sus ídolos, obra de mano de hombre.
5 They have mouths but do not speak, eyes but do not see.	5 Tienen boca y no hablan, tienen ojos y no ven,
6 They have ears but do not hear, noses but do not smell.	6 tienen oídos y no oyen, tienen nariz y no huelen.
7 They have hands but do not feel, feet but do not walk, and no sound rises from their throats.	7 Tienen manos y no palpan, tienen pies y no caminan, ni un solo susurro en su garganta.
8 Their makers shall be like them, all who trust in them.	8 Como ellos serán los que los hacen, cuantos en ellos ponen su confianza.
9 The house of Israel trusts in the LORD, who is their help and shield.	9 Casa de Israel, confía en Yahveh, él, su auxilio y su escudo;
10 The house of Aaron trusts in the LORD, who is their help and shield.	10 casa de Aarón, confía en Yahveh, él, su auxilio y su escudo;
11 Those who fear the LORD trust in the LORD, who is their help and shield.	11 los que teméis a Yahveh, confiad en Yahveh, él, su auxilio y su escudo.
12 The LORD remembers us and will bless us, will bless the house of Israel, will bless the house of Aaron,	12 Yahveh se acuerda de nosotros, él bendecirá, bendecirá a la casa de Israel, bendecirá a la casa de Aarón,
13 Will bless those who fear the LORD, small and great alike.	13 bendecirá a los que temen a Yahveh, a pequeños y grandes.
14 May the LORD increase your number, you and your descendants.	14 ¡Yahveh os acreciente a vosotros y a vuestros hijos!
15 May you be blessed by the LORD, who made heaven and earth.	15 ¡Benditos vosotros de Yahveh, que ha hecho los cielos y la tierra!
16 The heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth is given to us.	16 Los cielos, son los cielos de Yahveh, la tierra, se la ha dado a los hijos de Adán.
17 The dead do not praise the LORD, all those gone down into silence.	17 No alaban los muertos a Yahveh, ni ninguno de los que bajan al Silencio;
18 It is we who bless the LORD, both now and forever. Hallelujah!	18 mas nosotros, los vivos, a Yahveh bendecimos, desde ahora y por siempre.
