1 Questi sono i sacerdoti e i leviti che sono tornati con Zorobabèle figlio di Sealtiel, e con Giosuè: Seraia, Geremia, Esdra,	1 These are the priests and the Levites who came back with Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua:
2 Amaria, Malluch, Cattus,	2 Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,
3 Secania, Recum, Meremòt,	3 Amariah, Mal uch, Hattush, Shecaniah, Rehum, Meremoth,
4 Iddo, Ghinneton, Abia,	4 Iddo, Ginnethoi, Abijah,
5 Miamin, Maadia, Bilga,	5 Mijamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,
6 Semaia, Ioiarìb, Iedaia,	6 Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah,
7 Sallu, Amok, Chelkia, Iedaia. Questi erano i capi dei sacerdoti e dei loro fratelli al tempo di Giosuè.	7 Sal u, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah -- these were the heads of the priests and their kinsmen in the days ofJeshua.

27 Per la dedicazione delle mura di Gerusalemme si mandarono a cercare i leviti da tutti i luoghi dove si trovavano, per farli venire a Gerusalemme, perché la dedicazione si celebrasse con gioia, con inni e cantici e suono di cembali, saltéri e cetre.	27 At the dedication of the wal of Jerusalem the Levites were sent for, wherever they lived, to come toJerusalem and joyful y perform the dedication with hymns of thanksgiving and songs to the accompaniment ofcymbals, lyres and harps.
28 Gli appartenenti al corpo dei cantori si radunarono dal distretto intorno a Gerusalemme, dai villaggi dei Netofatiti,	28 Accordingly, the levitical singers assembled from the district round Jerusalem, from the vil ages ofthe Netophathites,

43 In quel giorno il popolo offrì numerosi sacrifici e si allietò, perché Dio gli aveva concesso una grande gioia. Anche le donne e i fanciulli si rallegrarono e la gioia di Gerusalemme si sentiva di lontano.	43 There were great sacrifices offered that day and the people rejoiced, God having given them goodcause for rejoicing; the women and children rejoiced too, and the joy of Jerusalem could be heard from far away.
44 In quel tempo, alcuni uomini furono preposti alle stanze che servivano da magazzini delle offerte, delle primizie, delle decime, perché vi raccogliessero dalle campagne dipendenti dalla città le parti assegnate dalla legge ai sacerdoti e ai leviti; perché i Giudei gioivano vedendo i sacerdoti e i leviti ai loro posti.	44 For the rooms intended for the treasures, contributions, first-fruits and tithes, supervisors were thenappointed whose business it was to col ect in them those portions from the town lands awarded by the Law tothe priests and Levites. For Judah rejoiced in the officiating priests and Levites,
