JERUSALEM	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Le deuxième lot sortit pour Siméon, pour la tribu des fils de Siméon selon leurs clans: leur héritagese trouva au milieu de l'héritage des fils de Juda.	1 The second lot to come out was for Simeon, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by clans; their heritagewas within the heritage of the sons of Judah.
2 Ils reçurent en héritage Bersabée, Shema, Molada,	2 As heritage, they received:
3 Haçar-Shual, Bala, Eçem,	3 Beersheba, Shema, Moladah,
4 Eltolad, Betul, Horma,	4 Hazar-Shual, Balah, Ezem, Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,
5 Ciqlag, Bet-ha-Markabot, Haçar-Susa,	5 Ziklag, Beth-ha-Marcaboth, Hazar-Susa,
6 Bet-Lebaôt et Sharuhén: treize villes et leurs villages;	6 Beth-Lebaoth and Sharuhen: thirteen towns and their vil ages.
7 Ayîn, Rimmôn, Etèr, Ashân: quatre villes et leurs villages,	7 Ain, Rimmon, Ether and Ashan: four towns and their villages,
8 avec tous les villages situés aux environs de ces villes jusqu'à Baalat-Béèr et Rama du Négeb. Tel futl'héritage de la tribu des fils de Siméon selon leurs clans.	8 with al the vil ages situated near these towns as far as Baalath-Beer and Ramah of the Negeb. Suchwas the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by clans.
9 L'héritage des fils de Siméon fut pris sur le lot des fils de Juda, parce que la part des fils de Juda étaittrop grande pour eux; les fils de Siméon reçurent donc leur héritage au milieu de l'héritage des fils de Juda.	9 The heritage of the sons of Simeon was taken out of the portion of the sons of Judah, because theshare of the sons of Judah was too large for them; hence, the sons of Simeon received their heritage within theheritage of the sons of Judah.
10 Le troisième lot revint aux fils de Zabulon selon leurs clans: le territoire de leur héritage s'étendaitjusqu'à Sadud;	10 The third lot fel to the sons of Zebulun, by clans; the territory of their heritage stretched as far asSadud;
11 leur frontière montait à l'occident vers Maraala, elle touchait Dabbeshèt ainsi que le torrent qui esten face de Yoqnéam.	11 their frontier climbed westwards to Maraalah, touching Dabbesheth and the torrent facing Jokneam.
12 La frontière tournait de Sadud vers l'est, là où le soleil se lève, jusqu'à la frontière de Kislot-Tabor,elle aboutissait vers Daberat et montait à Yaphia.	12 From Sadud, the frontier turned east, towards the rising sun, as far as the frontier of Chisloth-Tabor; itcame out at Dobrath and went up to Japhia.
13 De là elle passait vers l'est, au levant, vers Gat-Hépher et Itta-Qaçîn, aboutissait à Rimmôn ettournait vers Néa.	13 Thence, it went east, towards the sunrise, to Gath-Hepher and Ittah-Kazin, came out at Rimmon andturned towards Neah.
14 La frontière nord se tournait vers Hannatôn, et son point d'arrivée était à la vallée de Yiphtah-El;	14 The northern frontier turned towards Hannathon and came to an end in the Val ey of Iphtah-El;
15 avec Qattat, Nahalal, Shimrôn, Yiréala et Bethléem: douze villes avec leurs villages.	15 with Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Iralah and Bethlehem: twelve towns with their villages.
16 Tel fut l'héritage des fils de Zabulon selon leurs clans: ces villes avec leurs villages.	16 Such was the heritage of the sons of Zebulun, by clans: these towns with their vil ages.
17 Le quatrième lot sortit pour Issachar, pour les fils d'Issachar selon leurs clans.	17 The fourth lot came out for Issachar, for the sons of Issachar, by clans.
18 Leur territoire s'étendait vers Yizréel et comprenait Kesullot, Shunem,	18 Their territory stretched towards Jezreel and included Chesul oth, Shunem,
19 Hapharayim, Shiôn, Anaharat,	19 Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,
20 Daberat, Qishyôn, Ebeç,	20 Dobrath, Kishion, Ebez,
21 Rémèt, En-Gannim, En-Hadda, et Bet-Paççèç.	21 Remeth, En-Gannim, En-Haddah and Beth-Pazzez.
22 La frontière touchait Tabor, Shahaçima et Bet-Shémesh, et le point d'arrivée de la frontière était leJourdain: seize villes avec leurs villages.	22 Their frontier touched Tabor, Shahazimah and Beth-Shemesh, and the frontier came to an end at theJordan: sixteen towns with their vil ages.
23 Tel fut l'héritage de la tribu des fils d'Issachar selon leurs clans: les villes et leurs villages.	23 Such was the heritage of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, by clans: the towns and their vil ages.
24 Le cinquième lot sortit pour la tribu des fils d'Asher selon leurs clans.	24 The fifth lot came out for the tribe of the sons of Asher, by clans.
25 Leur territoire comprenait: Helqat, Hali, Bétèn, Akshaph,	25 Their territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph,
26 Alammélek, Améad et Mishéal; il touchait le Carmel à l'ouest et le cours du Libnat.	26 Alammelech, Amad and Mishal.
27 Du côté où le soleil se lève, il allait jusqu'à Bet-Dagôn, touchait Zabulon, la vallée de Yiphtah-El aunord, Bet-ha-Emeq et Néïel, aboutissant vers Kabul à gauche,	27 On the west, it touched Carmel and the course of the Libnath. On the side of the rising sun, it went asfar as Beth-Dagon, touched Zebulun, the Val ey of Iphtah-El on the north side, Beth-ha-Emek and Neiel, comingout with Cabul on the left,
28 avec Abdôn, Rehob, Hammôn, et Qana jusqu'à Sidon-la-Grande. Puis la frontière allait vers Ramaet jusqu'à la ville de la place forte de Tyr;	28 with Abdon, Rehob, Hammon and Kanah as far as Sidon the Great. The frontier then turned towardsRamah, as far as the fortress-town of Tyre;
29 la frontière allait ensuite à Hosa et son point d'arrivée était, à la mer, Mahaleb et Akzib,	29 the frontier then went to Hosah and reached as far as the sea at Mahalab and Achzib,
30 avec Akko, Aphèq et Rehob: 22 villes avec leurs villages.	30 with Acco, Aphek and Rehob: twenty-two towns with their vil ages.

32 Pour les fils de Nephtali sortit le sixième lot, pour les fils de Nephtali selon leurs clans.	32 To the sons of Naphtali fel the sixth portion, to the sons of Naphtali, by clans.
33 Leur frontière allait à Héleph et du Chêne de Caanannim, avec Adami-ha-Néqèb et Yabnéel, jusqu'àLaqqum, et son point d'arrivée était le Jourdain.	33 Their frontier went from Heleph and the Oak of Zanaannim, with Adami-ha-Negeb and Jabneel, as faras Lakkum, and ended at the Jordan.
34 A l'ouest la frontière passait à Aznot-Tabor, elle aboutissait de là à Huqoq et touchait Zabulon ausud, Asher à l'ouest et le Jourdain à l'est.	34 The westward boundary ran to Aznoth-Tabor and thence came out at Hukkok, marching with Zebulunin the south, Asher in the west and the Jordan in the east.
35 Les villes fortes étaient: Ciddim, Cer, Hammat, Raqqat, Kinnérèt,	35 The fortified towns were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth,
36 Adama, Rama, Haçor,	36 Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,
37 Qédesh, Edréï, En-Haçor,	37 Kedesh, Edrei, En-Hazor,
38 Yiréôn, Migdal-El, Horem, Bet-Anat, et Bet-Shémesh: dix-neuf villes et leurs villages.	38 Jiron, Migdal-El, Horem, Beth-Anath and Beth-Shemesh: nineteen towns and their vil ages.
39 Tel fut l'héritage des fils de Nephtali selon leurs clans: les villes et leurs villages.	39 Such was the heritage of the sons of Naphtali, by clans: the towns and their vil ages.
40 Pour la tribu des fils de Dan selon leurs clans sortit le septième lot.	40 To the tribe of the sons of Dan, by clans, fel the seventh portion.
41 Le territoire de leur héritage comprenait: Coréa, Eshtaol, Ir-Shémesh,	41 The territory of their heritage comprised: Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir-Shemesh,
42 Shaalbim, Ayyalôn, Silata,	42 Shaalbim, Aijalon, Silatha,
43 Elôn, Timna, Eqrôn,	43 Elon, Timnah, Ekron,
44 Elteqé, Gibbetôn, Baalat,	44 Eltekeh, Gibbethon,
45 Azor, Bené-Beraq et Gat-Rimmôn;	45 Baalath, Azor, Bene-Berak and Gath-Rimmon;
46 et vers la mer Yeraqôn avec le territoire qui est en face de Joppé.	46 and, by the sea, Jerakon with the territory facing Jaffa.
47 Mais le territoire des fils de Dan leur échappa, aussi les fils de Dan montèrent-ils pour combattreLéshem dont ils s'emparèrent et qu'ils passèrent au fil de l'épée. En ayant pris possession, ils s'y établirent etappelèrent Léshem, Dan, du nom de leur ancêtre Dan.	47 The territory of the sons of Dan eluded them, however, and the sons of Dan consequently went upand attacked Leshem, captured it and put it to the sword. Having gained possession of it, they settled there andcal ed Leshem, Dan, after Dan their ancestor.

49 Ayant achevé la répartition du pays selon ses frontières, les Israélites donnèrent à Josué, fils deNûn, un héritage au milieu d'eux;	49 Having finished dividing the country, frontier by frontier, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun aheritage among themselves;
50 sur l'ordre de Yahvé, ils lui donnèrent la ville qu'il avait demandée, Timnat-Sérah, dans la montagned'Ephraïm; il rebâtit la ville et s'y établit.	50 at Yahweh's command, they gave him the town which he had asked for, Timnath-Serah in thehighlands of Ephraim; he rebuilt the town and settled there.
51 Telles sont les parts d'héritage que le prêtre Eléazar, Josué fils de Nûn et les chefs de famillerépartirent par le sort entre les tribus d'Israël à Silo, en présence de Yahvé, à l'entrée de la Tente du Rendez-vous.Ainsi fut terminé le partage du pays.	51 Such are the heritages which the priest Eleazar, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of each familyapportioned by lot between the tribes of Israel at Shiloh, in Yahweh's presence, at the door of the Tent ofMeeting; and thus the apportioning of the country was completed.
