Revelation 20

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 Then I saw an angel come down from heaven with the key of the Abyss in his hand and an enormouschain.	1 Luego vi a un Angel que bajaba del cielo y tenía en su mano la llave del Abismo y una gran cadena.
2 He overpowered the dragon, that primeval serpent which is the devil and Satan, and chained him upfor a thousand years.	2 Dominó al Dragon, la Serpiente antigua - que es el Diablo y Satanás - y lo encadenó por mil años.
3 He hurled him into the Abyss and shut the entrance and sealed it over him, to make sure he would notlead the nations astray again until the thousand years had passed. At the end of that time he must be released,but only for a short while.	3 Lo arrojó al Abismo, lo encerró y puso encima los sellos, para que no seduzca más a las naciones hasta que se cumplan los mil años. Después tiene que ser soltado por poco tiempo.
4 Then I saw thrones, where they took their seats, and on them was conferred the power to givejudgement. I saw the souls of al who had been beheaded for having witnessed for Jesus and for havingpreached God's word, and those who refused to worship the beast or his statue and would not accept the brand-mark on their foreheads or hands; they came to life, and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.	4 Luego vi unos tronos, y se sentaron en ellos, y se les dio el poder de juzgar; vi también las almas de los que fueron decapitados por el testimonio de Jesús y la Palabra de Dios, y a todos los que no adoraron a la Bestia ni a su imagen, y no aceptaron la marca en su frente o en su mano; revivieron y reinaron con Cristo mil años.
5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were over; this is the firstresurrection.	5 Los demás muertos no revivieron hasta que se acabaron los mil años. Es la primera resurrección.
6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection; the second death has no power overthem but they wil be priests of God and of Christ and reign with him for a thousand years.	6 Dichoso y santo el que participa en la primera resurrección; la segunda muerte no tiene poder sobre éstos, sino que serán Sacerdotes de Dios y de Cristo y reinarán con él mil años.
7 When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison	7 Cuando se terminen los mil años, será Satanás soltado de su prisión
8 and wil come out to lead astray all the nations in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, andmobilise them for war, his armies being as many as the sands of the sea.	8 y saldrá a seducir a las naciones de los cuatro extremos de la tierra, a Gog y a Magog, y a reunirlos para la guerra, numerosos como la arena del mar.
9 They came swarming over the entire country and besieged the camp of the saints, which is thebeloved City. But fire rained down on them from heaven and consumed them.	9 Subieron por toda la anchura de la tierra y cercaron el campamento de los santos y de la Ciudad amada. Pero bajó fuego del cielo y los devoró.
10 Then the devil, who led them astray, was hurled into the lake of fire and sulphur, where the beast andthe false prophet are, and their torture wil not come to an end, day or night, for ever and ever.	10 Y el Diablo, su seductor, fue arrojado al lago de fuego y azufre, donde están también la Bestia y el falso profeta, y serán atormentados día y noche por los siglos de los siglos.
11 Then I saw a great white throne and the One who was sitting on it. In his presence, earth and skyvanished, leaving no trace.	11 Luego vi un gran trono blanco, y al que estaba sentado sobre él. El cielo y la tierra huyeron de su presencia sin dejar rastro.
12 I saw the dead, great and smal alike, standing in front of his throne while the books lay open. Andanother book was opened, which is the book of life, and the dead were judged from what was written in thebooks, as their deeds deserved.	12 Y vi a los muertos, grandes y pequeños, de pie delante del trono; fueron abiertos unos libros, y luego se abrió otro libro, que es el de la vida; y los muertos fueron juzgados según lo escrito en los libros, conforme a sus obras.
13 The sea gave up all the dead who were in it;	13 Y el mar devolvió los muertos que guardaba, la Muerte y el Hades devolvieron los muertos que guardaban, y cada uno fue juzgado según sus obras.
14 Death and Hades were emptied of the dead that were in them; and every one was judged as hisdeeds deserved. Then Death and Hades were hurled into the burning lake. This burning lake is the seconddeath;	14 La Muerte y el Hades fueron arrojados al lago de fuego - este lago de fuego es la muerte segunda -
15 and anybody whose name could not be found written in the book of life was hurled into the burninglake.	15 y el que no se halló inscrito en el libro de la vida fue arrojado al lago de fuego.
