Titus 3

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 Remind them to be obedient to the officials in authority; to be ready to do good at every opportunity;	1 ذكّرهم ان يخضعوا للرياسات والسلاطين ويطيعوا ويكونوا مستعدين لكل عمل صالح.
2 not to go slandering other people but to be peaceable and gentle, and always polite to people of al kinds.	2 ولا يطعنوا في احد ويكونوا غير مخاصمين حلماء مظهرين كل وداعة لجميع الناس.
3 There was a time when we too were ignorant, disobedient and misled and enslaved by different passionsand dissipations; we lived then in wickedness and malice, hating each other and hateful ourselves.	3 لاننا كنا نحن ايضا قبلا اغبياء غير طائعين ضالين مستعبدين لشهوات ولذّات مختلفة عائشين في الخبث والحسد ممقوتين مبغضين بعضنا بعضا.
4 But when the kindness and love of God our Saviour for humanity were revealed,	4 ولكن حين ظهر لطف مخلّصنا الله واحسانه
5 it was not because of any upright actions we had done ourselves; it was for no reason except his ownfaithful love that he saved us, by means of the cleansing water of rebirth and renewal in the Holy Spirit	5 لا باعمال في بر عملناها نحن بل بمقتضى رحمته خلّصنا بغسل الميلاد الثاني وتجديد الروح القدس
6 which he has so generously poured over us through Jesus Christ our Saviour;	6 الذي سكبه بغنى علينا بيسوع المسيح مخلّصنا
7 so that, justified by his grace, we should become heirs in hope of eternal life.	7 حتى اذا تبررنا بنعمته نصير ورثة حسب رجاء الحياة الابدية.
8 This is doctrine that you can rely on. I want you to be quite uncompromising in teaching all this, so thatthose who now believe in God may keep their minds constantly occupied in doing good works. Al this is good,and useful for everybody.	8 صادقة هي الكلمة. واريد ان تقرر هذه الامور لكي يهتم الذين آمنوا بالله ان يمارسوا اعمالا حسنة. فان هذه الامور هي الحسنة والنافعة للناس.
9 But avoid foolish speculations, and those genealogies, and the quibbles and disputes about the Law --they are useless and futile.	9 واما المباحثات الغبية والانساب والخصومات والمنازعات الناموسية فاجتنبها لانها غير نافعة وباطلة.
10 If someone disputes what you teach, then after a first and a second warning, have no more to do withhim:	10 الرجل المبتدع بعد الانذار مرة ومرتين اعرض عنه
11 you wil know that anyone of that sort is warped and is self-condemned as a sinner.	11 عالما ان مثل هذا قد انحرف وهو يخطئ محكوما عليه من نفسه
12 As soon as I have sent Artemas or Tychicus to you, do your best to join me at Nicopolis, where I havedecided to spend the winter.	12 حينما ارسل اليك ارتيماس او تيخيكس بادر ان تأتي اليّ الى نيكوبوليس لاني عزمت ان اشتي هناك.
13 Help eagerly on their way Zenas the lawyer and Apollos, and make sure they have everything theyneed.	13 جهز زيناس الناموسي وابلّوس باجتهاد للسفر حتى لا يعوزهما شيء.
14 Al our people must also learn to occupy themselves in doing good works for their practical needs, andnot to be unproductive.	14 وليتعلّم من لنا ايضا ان يمارسوا اعمالا حسنة للحاجات الضرورية حتى لا يكونوا بلا ثمر.
15 Al those who are with me send their greetings. Greetings to those who love us in the faith. Grace bewith you all.	15 يسلم عليك الذين معي جميعا. سلم على الذين يحبوننا في الايمان. النعمة مع جميعكم. آمين
