Philippians 4

1 So then, my brothers and dear friends whom I miss so much, my joy and my crown, hold firm in theLord, dear friends.	1 Οθεν, αδελφοι μου αγαπητοι και επιποθητοι, χαρα και στεφανος μου, ουτω στεκεσθε εν Κυριω, αγαπητοι.
2 I urge Euodia, and I urge Syntyche to come to agreement with each other in the Lord;	2 Παρακαλω την Ευωδιαν, παρακαλω και την Συντυχην, να φρονωσι το αυτο εν Κυριω?
3 and I ask you, Syzygus, real y to be a 'partner' and help them. These women have struggled hard for thegospel with me, along with Clement and al my other fel ow-workers, whose names are written in the book of life.	3 και παρακαλω και σε, συντροφε γνησιε, βοηθει αυτας αιτινες συνηγωνισθησαν μετ' εμου εις το ευαγγελιον ομου και με τον Κλημεντα και τους λοιπους συνεργους μου, των οποιων τα ονοματα ειναι εν βιβλιω ζωης.
4 Always be joyful, then, in the Lord; I repeat, be joyful.	4 Χαιρετε εν Κυριω παντοτε? παλιν θελω ειπει, Χαιρετε.
5 Let your good sense be obvious to everybody. The Lord is near.	5 Η επιεικεια σας ας γεινη γνωστη εις παντας τους ανθρωπους. Ο Κυριος ειναι πλησιον.
6 Never worry about anything; but tel God all your desires of every kind in prayer and petition shotthrough with gratitude,	6 Μη μεριμνατε περι μηδενος, αλλ' εν παντι πραγματι ας γνωριζωνται τα ζητηματα σας προς τον Θεον μετ' ευχαριστιας δια της προσευχης και της δεησεως.
7 and the peace of God which is beyond our understanding wil guard your hearts and your thoughts inChrist Jesus.	7 Και η ειρηνη του Θεου η υπερεχουσα παντα νουν θελει διαφυλαξει τας καρδιας σας και τα διανοηματα σας δια του Ιησου Χριστου.
8 Finally, brothers, let your minds be fil ed with everything that is true, everything that is honourable,everything that is upright and pure, everything that we love and admire -- with whatever is good andpraiseworthy.	8 Το λοιπον, αδελφοι, οσα ειναι αληθη, οσα σεμνα, οσα δικαια, οσα καθαρα, οσα προσφιλη, οσα ευφημα, αν υπαρχη τις αρετη και εαν τις επαινος, ταυτα συλλογιζεσθε?
9 Keep doing everything you learnt from me and were told by me and have heard or seen me doing. Thenthe God of peace will be with you.	9 εκεινα τα οποια και εμαθετε και παρελαβετε και ηκουσατε και ειδετε εν εμοι, ταυτα πραττετε και ο Θεος της ειρηνης θελει εισθαι μεθ' υμων.
10 As for me, I am full of joy in the Lord, now that at last your consideration for me has blossomed again;though I recognise that you really did have consideration before, but had no opportunity to show it.	10 Εχαρην δε εν Κυριω μεγαλως οτι τωρα τελος παντων εδειξατε αναθαλλουσαν την υπερ εμου φροντιδα? περι του οποιου και εφροντιζετε, πλην δεν ειχετε ευκαιριαν.
11 I do not say this because I have lacked anything; I have learnt to manage with whatever I have.	11 Ουχι οτι λεγω τουτο διοτι υστερουμαι? επειδη εγω εμαθον να ημαι αυταρκης εις οσα εχω.
12 I know how to live modestly, and I know how to live luxuriously too: in every way now I have masteredthe secret of al conditions: ful stomach and empty stomach, plenty and poverty.	12 Εξευρω να ταπεινονωμαι, εξευρω και να περισσευωμαι? εν παντι τοπω και κατα παντα ειμαι δεδιδαγμενος και να χορταζωμαι και να πεινω, και να περισσευωμαι και να υστερωμαι?
13 There is nothing I cannot do in the One who strengthens me.	13 τα παντα δυναμαι δια του ενδυναμουντος με Χριστου.
14 Al the same, it was good of you to share with me in my hardships.	14 Πλην καλως επραξατε γενομενοι συγκοινωνοι εις την θλιψιν μου.
15 In the early days of the gospel, as you of Philippi wel know, when I left Macedonia, no church otherthan yourselves made common account with me in the matter of expenditure and receipts. You were the onlyones;	15 Εξευρετε δε και σεις, Φιλιππησιοι, οτι εν αρχη του ευαγγελιου, οτε εξηλθον απο Μακεδονιας, ουδεμια εκκλησια συνεκοινωνησε μετ' εμου περι δοσεως και ληψεως, ειμη σεις μονοι,
16 and what is more, you have twice sent me what I needed in Thessalonica.	16 διοτι και εν Θεσσαλονικη και απαξ και δις μοι επεμψατε εις την χρειαν μου.
17 It is not the gift that I value most; what I value is the interest that is mounting up in your account.	17 Ουχι οτι ζητω το δωρον, αλλα ζητω τον καρπον τον πλεοναζοντα εις λογαρισμον σας.
18 I have al that I need and more: I am ful y provided, now that I have received from Epaphroditus theoffering that you sent, a pleasing smel , the sacrifice which is acceptable and pleasing to God.	18 Εχω ομως παντα και περισσευομαι? ενεπλησθην δεχθεις παρα του Επαφροδιτου τα σταλεντα απο σας, οσμην ευωδιας, θυσιαν δεκτην, ευαρεστον εις τον Θεον.
19 And my God will fulfil al your needs out of the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.	19 Ο δε Θεος μου θελει εκπληρωσει πασαν χρειαν σας κατα τον πλουτον αυτου εν δοξη δια Ιησου Χριστου.
20 And so glory be to God our Father, for ever and ever. Amen.	20 Εις δε τον Θεον και Πατερα ημων εστω η δοξα εις τους αιωνας των αιωνων? αμην.
21 My greetings to every one of God's holy people in Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me sendyou their greetings.	21 Ασπασθητε παντα αγιον εν Χριστω Ιησου. Σας ασπαζονται οι μετ' εμου αδελφοι.
22 Al God's holy people send you their greetings, especially those of Caesar's household.	22 Σας ασπαζονται παντες οι αγιοι, μαλιστα δε οι εκ της οικιας του Καισαρος.
23 May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.	23 Η χαρις του Κυριου ημων Ιησου Χριστου ειη μετα παντων υμων? αμην.
