Philippians 2

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 So if in Christ there is anything that will move you, any incentive in love, any fel owship in the Spirit, anywarmth or sympathy -- I appeal to you,	1 فان كان وعظ ما في المسيح ان كانت تسلية ما للمحبة ان كانت شركة ما في الروح ان كانت احشاء ورأفة
2 make my joy complete by being of a single mind, one in love, one in heart and one in mind.	2 فتمموا فرحي حتى تفتكروا فكرا واحدا ولكم محبة واحدة بنفس واحدة مفتكرين شيئا واحدا
3 Nothing is to be done out of jealousy or vanity; instead, out of humility of mind everyone should givepreference to others,	3 لا شيئا بتحزب او بعجب بل بتواضع حاسبين بعضكم البعض افضل من انفسهم.
4 everyone pursuing not selfish interests but those of others.	4 لا تنظروا كل واحد الى ما هو لنفسه بل كل واحد الى ما هو لآخرين ايضا.
5 Make your own the mind of Christ Jesus:	5 فليكن فيكم هذا الفكر الذي في المسيح يسوع ايضا
6 Who, being in the form of God, did not count equality with God something to be grasped.	6 الذي اذ كان في صورة الله لم يحسب خلسة ان يكون معادلا للّه
7 But he emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, becoming as human beings are; and being in everyway like a human being,	7 لكنه اخلى نفسه آخذا صورة عبد صائرا في شبه الناس.
8 he was humbler yet, even to accepting death, death on a cross.	8 واذ وجد في الهيئة كانسان وضع نفسه واطاع حتى الموت موت الصليب.
9 And for this God raised him high, and gave him the name which is above al other names;	9 لذلك رفعه الله ايضا واعطاه اسما فوق كل اسم
10 so that al beings in the heavens, on earth and in the underworld, should bend the knee at the name ofJesus	10 لكي تجثو باسم يسوع كل ركبة ممن في السماء ومن على الارض ومن تحت الارض
11 and that every tongue should acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord, to the glory of God the Father.	11 ويعترف كل لسان ان يسوع المسيح هو رب لمجد الله الآب
12 So, my dear friends, you have always been obedient; your obedience must not be limited to timeswhen I am present. Now that I am absent it must be more in evidence, so work out your salvation in fear andtrembling.	12 اذا يا احبائي كما اطعتم كل حين ليس كما في حضوري فقط بل الآن بالأولى جدا في غيابي تمموا خلاصكم بخوف ورعدة
13 It is God who, for his own generous purpose, gives you the intention and the powers to act.	13 لان الله هو العامل فيكم ان تريدوا وان تعملوا من اجل المسرّة.
14 Let your behaviour be free of murmuring and complaining	14 افعلوا كل شيء بلا دمدمة ولا مجادلة
15 so that you remain faultless and pure, unspoilt children of God surrounded by a deceitful andunderhand brood, shining out among them like bright stars in the world,	15 لكي تكونوا بلا لوم وبسطاء اولادا للّه بلا عيب في وسط جيل معوج وملتو تضيئون بينهم كانوار في العالم
16 proffering to it the Word of life. Then I shall have reason to be proud on the Day of Christ, for it wil notbe for nothing that I have run the race and toiled so hard.	16 متمسكين بكلمة الحياة لافتخاري في يوم المسيح باني لم اسع باطلا ولا تعبت باطلا.
17 Indeed, even if my blood has to be poured as a libation over your sacrifice and the offering of yourfaith, then I shal be glad and join in your rejoicing-	17 لكنني وان كنت انسكب ايضا على ذبيحة ايمانكم وخدمته اسرّ وافرح معكم اجمعين.
18 and in the same way, you must be glad and join in my rejoicing.	18 وبهذا عينه كونوا انتم مسرورين ايضا وافرحوا معي
19 I hope, in the Lord Jesus, to send Timothy to you soon, so that my mind may be set at rest when I hearhow you are.	19 على اني ارجو في الرب يسوع ان ارسل اليكم سريعا تيموثاوس لكي تطيب نفسي اذا عرفت احوالكم.
20 There is nobody else that I can send who is like him and cares as sincerely for your well-being;	20 لان ليس لي احد آخر نظير نفسي يهتم باحوالكم بإخلاص.
21 they al want to work for themselves, not for Jesus Christ.	21 اذ الجميع يطلبون ما هو لانفسهم لا ما هو ليسوع المسيح.
22 But you know what sort of person he has proved himself, working with me for the sake of the gospellike a son with his father.	22 واما اختباره فانتم تعرفون انه كولد مع اب خدم معي لاجل الانجيل.
23 That is the man, then, that I am hoping to send to you immediately I can make out what is going tohappen to me;	23 هذا ارجو ان ارسله اول ما ارى احوالي حالا.
24 but I am confident in the Lord that I shal come myself, too, before long.	24 وأثق بالرب اني انا ايضا سآتي اليكم سريعا.
25 Nevertheless I thought it essential to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fel ow-worker andcompanion-in-arms since he came as your representative to look after my needs;	25 ولكني حسبت من اللازم ان ارسل اليكم ابفرودتس اخي والعامل معي والمتجند معي ورسولكم والخادم لحاجتي.
26 because he was missing you al and was worrying because you had heard that he was il .	26 اذ كان مشتاقا الى جميعكم ومغموما لانكم سمعتم انه كان مريضا.
27 Indeed he was seriously il and nearly died; but God took pity on him -- and not only on him but also onme, to spare me one grief on top of another.	27 فانه مرض قريبا من الموت لكن الله رحمه وليس اياه وحده بل اياي ايضا لئلا يكون لي حزن على حزن.
28 So I am sending him back as promptly as I can so that you wil have the joy of seeing him again, andthat wil be some comfort to me in my distress.	28 فارسلته اليكم باوفر سرعة حتى اذا رأيتموه تفرحون ايضا واكون انا اقل حزنا.
29 Welcome him in the Lord, then, with al joy; hold people like him in honour,	29 فاقبلوه في الرب بكل فرح وليكن مثله مكرّما عندكم.
30 because it was for Christ's work that he came so near to dying, risking his life to do the duty to mewhich you could not do yourselves.	30 لانه من اجل عمل المسيح قارب الموت مخاطرا بنفسه لكي يجبر نقصان خدمتكم لي
