¹ It is widely reported that there is sexual immorality among you, immorality of a kind that is not foundeven among gentiles: that one of you is living with his stepmother.	¹ Słyszy się powszechnie o rozpuście między wami, i to o takiej rozpuście, jaka się nie zdarza nawet wśród pogan; mianowicie, że ktoś żyje z żoną swego ojca.
² And you so fil ed with your own self-importance! It would have been better if you had been grievingbitterly, so that the man who has done this thing were turned out of the community.	² A wy unieśliście się pychą, zamiast z ubolewaniem żądać, by usunięto spośród was tego, który się dopuścił wspomnianego czynu.
³ For my part, however distant I am physical y, I am present in spirit and have already condemned theman who behaved in this way, just as though I were present in person.	³ Ja zaś nieobecny wprawdzie ciałem, ale obecny duchem, już potępiłem, tak jakby był wśród was, sprawcę owego przestępstwa.
⁴ When you have gathered together in the name of our Lord Jesus, with the presence of my spirit, and inthe power of our Lord Jesus,	⁴ Przeto wy, zebrawszy się razem w imię Pana naszego Jezusa, w łączności z duchem moim i z mocą Pana naszego Jezusa,
⁵ hand such a man over to Satan, to be destroyed as far as natural life is concerned, so that on the Dayof the Lord his spirit may be saved.	⁵ wydajcie takiego szatanowi na zatracenie ciała, lecz ku ratunkowi jego ducha w dzień Pana Jezusa.
⁶ Your self-satisfaction is il founded. Do you not realise that only a little yeast leavens the whole batch ofdough?	⁶ Wcale nie macie się czym chlubić! Czyż nie wiecie, że odrobina kwasu całe ciasto zakwasza?
⁷ Throw out the old yeast so that you can be the fresh dough, unleavened as you are. For our Passoverhas been sacrificed, that is, Christ;	⁷ Wyrzućcie więc stary kwas, abyście się stali nowym ciastem, jako że przaśni jesteście. Chrystus bowiem został złożony w ofierze jako nasza Pascha.
⁸ let us keep the feast, then, with none of the old yeast and no leavening of evil and wickedness, but onlythe unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.	⁸ Tak przeto odprawiajmy święto nasze, nie przy użyciu starego kwasu, kwasu złości i przewrotności, lecz - przaśnego chleba czystości i prawdy.
⁹ In my letter, I wrote to you that you should have nothing to do with people living immoral lives.	⁹ Napisałem wam w liście, żebyście nie obcowali z rozpustnikami.
¹⁰ I was not including everybody in this present world who is sexually immoral, or everybody who isgreedy, or dishonest or worships false gods -- that would mean you would have to cut yourselves off completelyfrom the world.	¹⁰ Nie chodzi o rozpustników tego świata w ogóle ani o chciwców i zdzierców lub bałwochwalców; musielibyście bowiem całkowicie opuścić ten świat.
¹¹ In fact what I meant was that you were not to have anything to do with anyone going by the name ofbrother who is sexual y immoral, or is greedy, or worships false gods, or is a slanderer or a drunkard ordishonest; never even have a meal with anybody of that kind.	¹¹ Dlatego pisałem wam wówczas, byście nie przestawali z takim, który nazywając się bratem, w rzeczywistości jest rozpustnikiem, chciwcem, bałwochwalcą, oszczercą, pijakiem lub zdziercą. Z takim nawet nie siadajcie wspólnie do posiłku.
¹² It is no concern of mine to judge outsiders. It is for you to judge those who are inside, is it not?	¹² Jakże bowiem mogę sądzić tych, którzy są na zewnątrz? Czyż i wy nie sądzicie tych, którzy są wewnątrz?
¹³ But outsiders are for God to judge. You must banish this evil-doer from among you.	¹³ Tych, którzy są na zewnątrz, osądzi Bóg. Usuńcie złego spośród was samych.
