1 It is widely reported that there is sexual immorality among you, immorality of a kind that is not foundeven among gentiles: that one of you is living with his stepmother.	1 Insomma si parla tra di voi di fornicazione, e di tale fornicazione, quale neppur tralle genti, talmente che uno ritenga la moglie del proprio padre.
2 And you so fil ed with your own self-importance! It would have been better if you had been grievingbitterly, so that the man who has done this thing were turned out of the community.	2 E voi siete gonfi: e non piuttosto avete pianto, affinchè fosse tolto di mezzo a voi chi ha fatto tal cosa.
3 For my part, however distant I am physical y, I am present in spirit and have already condemned theman who behaved in this way, just as though I were present in person.	3 Io però assente corporalmente, ma presente in ispirito ho già come presente giudicato, che colui il quale ha attentato tal cosa,
4 When you have gathered together in the name of our Lord Jesus, with the presence of my spirit, and inthe power of our Lord Jesus,	4 (Congregati voi, e il mio spirito nel nome del Signor nostro Gesù Cristo) con la potestà del Signor nostro Gesù,
5 hand such a man over to Satan, to be destroyed as far as natural life is concerned, so that on the Dayof the Lord his spirit may be saved.	5 Sia dato questo tale nelle mani di Satana per morte della carne: affinchè lo spirito sia salvo nel dì del Signor nostro Gesù Cristo.
6 Your self-satisfaction is il founded. Do you not realise that only a little yeast leavens the whole batch ofdough?	6 Voi vi gloriate senza ragione. Non sapete voi, che un poco di lievito fa fermentare tutto l'impasto?
7 Throw out the old yeast so that you can be the fresh dough, unleavened as you are. For our Passoverhas been sacrificed, that is, Christ;	7 Togliete via il vecchio fermento, affinchè siate una nuova pasta, come siete senza fermento. Imperocché nostro agnello pasquale è stato immolato Cristo.
8 let us keep the feast, then, with none of the old yeast and no leavening of evil and wickedness, but onlythe unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.	8 Per la qual cosa solennizziamo la festa non col vecchio lievito, né col lievito della malizia, e della malvagità, ma con gli azzimi della purità, e della verità.
9 In my letter, I wrote to you that you should have nothing to do with people living immoral lives.	9 Vi ho scritto per lettera: non abbiate commercio co' fornicatori:
10 I was not including everybody in this present world who is sexually immoral, or everybody who isgreedy, or dishonest or worships false gods -- that would mean you would have to cut yourselves off completelyfrom the world.	10 Ma certamente non coi fornicatori di questo mondo, o con gli avari, o coi ladri, o idolatri: altrimenti dovreste senz'altro uscire di questo mondo.
11 In fact what I meant was that you were not to have anything to do with anyone going by the name ofbrother who is sexual y immoral, or is greedy, or worships false gods, or is a slanderer or a drunkard ordishonest; never even have a meal with anybody of that kind.	11 Vi scrissi bensì, non abbiate commercio; se taluno, che si chiama fratello, è fornicatore, o avaro, o adoratore degli idoli, o maldicente, o dato all'ubriachezza, o rapace: con questi tale neppur prender cibo,
12 It is no concern of mine to judge outsiders. It is for you to judge those who are inside, is it not?	12 Imperocché tocca egli a me il giudicare anche di que', che sono di fuori? Non giudicate voi di quegli, che sono dentro?
13 But outsiders are for God to judge. You must banish this evil-doer from among you.	13 Imperocché que' di fuori giudicheralli Dio. Togliete di mezzo a voi il cattivo.
