1 It is widely reported that there is sexual immorality among you, immorality of a kind that is not foundeven among gentiles: that one of you is living with his stepmother.	1 Γενικως ακουεται οτι ειναι μεταξυ σας πορνεια, και τοιαυτη πορνεια, ητις ουδε μεταξυ των εθνων ονομαζεται, ωστε να εχη τις την γυναικα του πατρος αυτου.
2 And you so fil ed with your own self-importance! It would have been better if you had been grievingbitterly, so that the man who has done this thing were turned out of the community.	2 Και σεις εισθε πεφυσιωμενοι, και δεν επενθησατε μαλλον, δια να εκβληθη εκ μεσου υμων ο πραξας το εργον τουτο.
3 For my part, however distant I am physical y, I am present in spirit and have already condemned theman who behaved in this way, just as though I were present in person.	3 Διοτι εγω ως απων κατα το σωμα, παρων ομως κατα το πνευμα, εκρινα ηδη ως παρων τον ουτω πραξαντα τουτο,
4 When you have gathered together in the name of our Lord Jesus, with the presence of my spirit, and inthe power of our Lord Jesus,	4 εν τω ονοματι του Κυριου ημων Ιησου Χριστου αφου συναχθητε σεις και το εμον πνευμα με την δυναμιν του Κυριου ημων Ιησου Χριστου
5 hand such a man over to Satan, to be destroyed as far as natural life is concerned, so that on the Dayof the Lord his spirit may be saved.	5 να παραδωσητε τον τοιουτον εις τον Σαταναν προς ολεθρον της σαρκος, δια να σωθη το πνευμα αυτου εν τη ημερα του Κυριου Ιησου.
6 Your self-satisfaction is il founded. Do you not realise that only a little yeast leavens the whole batch ofdough?	6 Δεν ειναι καλον το καυχημα σας. Δεν εξευρετε οτι ολιγη ζυμη καμνει ολον το φυραμα ενζυμον;
7 Throw out the old yeast so that you can be the fresh dough, unleavened as you are. For our Passoverhas been sacrificed, that is, Christ;	7 Καθαρισθητε λοιπον απο της παλαιας ζυμης, δια να ησθε νεον φυραμα, καθως εισθε αζυμοι. Διοτι το πασχα ημων εθυσιασθη υπερ ημων, ο Χριστος?
8 let us keep the feast, then, with none of the old yeast and no leavening of evil and wickedness, but onlythe unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.	8 ωστε ας εορταζωμεν ουχι με ζυμην παλαιαν, ουδε με ζυμην κακιας και πονηριας, αλλα με ενζυμα ειλικρινειας και αληθειας.
9 In my letter, I wrote to you that you should have nothing to do with people living immoral lives.	9 Σας εγραψα εν τη επιστολη να μη συναναστρεφησθε με πορνους,
10 I was not including everybody in this present world who is sexually immoral, or everybody who isgreedy, or dishonest or worships false gods -- that would mean you would have to cut yourselves off completelyfrom the world.	10 και ουχι διολου με τους πορνους του κοσμου τουτου η με τους πλεονεκτας η αρπαγας η ειδωλολατρας? επειδη τοτε πρεπει να εξελθητε απο του κοσμου.
11 In fact what I meant was that you were not to have anything to do with anyone going by the name ofbrother who is sexual y immoral, or is greedy, or worships false gods, or is a slanderer or a drunkard ordishonest; never even have a meal with anybody of that kind.	11 Αλλα τωρα σας εγραψα να μη συναναστρεφησθε, εαν τις αδελφος ονομαζομενος ηναι πορνος η πλεονεκτης η ειδωλολατρης η λοιδορος η μεθυσος η αρπαξ? με τον τοιουτον μηδε να συντρωγητε.
12 It is no concern of mine to judge outsiders. It is for you to judge those who are inside, is it not?	12 Διοτι τι με μελει να κρινω και τους εξω; δεν κρινετε σεις τους εσω;
13 But outsiders are for God to judge. You must banish this evil-doer from among you.	13 Τους δε εξω ο Θεος θελει κρινει. Οθεν εκβαλετε τον κακον εκ μεσου υμων.
