Deuteronomy 11

1 'You must love Yahweh your God and always keep his observances, his laws, his customs, hiscommandments.	1 Итак люби Господа, Бога твоего, и соблюдай, что повелено Им соблюдать, и постановления Его и законы Его и заповеди Его во все дни.
2 You are the ones who have had the experience, not your children. They have not had the experience,they have not witnessed the lessons of Yahweh your God, his greatness, his mighty hand and his outstretchedarm,	2 И вспомните ныне, --ибо [я говорю] не с сынами вашими, которые не знают и не видели наказания Господа Бога вашего, --Его величие Его крепкую руку и высокую мышцу его,
3 the signs and the deeds which he performed in the heart of Egypt, against Pharaoh king of Egypt andhis entire country,	3 знамения Его и дела Его, которые Он сделал среди Египта с фараоном, царем Египетским, и со всею землею его,
4 what he did to the armies of Egypt, to their horses and their chariots, by overwhelming them with thewaters of the Sea of Reeds when they were pursuing you, and leaving no trace of them to this day;	4 и что Он сделал с войском Египетским, с конями его и колесницами его, которых Он потопил в водах Чермного моря, когда они гнались за вами, --и погубил их Господь даже до сего дня;
5 what he did for you in the desert, until you arrived here;	5 и что Он делал для вас в пустыне, доколе вы не дошли до места сего,
6 what he did to Dathan and Abiram the sons of Eliab the Reubenite, when, with al Israel standinground, the earth opened its mouth and swal owed them, with their families, their tents and al their supporters.	6 и что Он сделал с Дафаном и Авироном, сынами Елиава, сына Рувимова, когда земля разверзла уста свои и среди всего Израиля поглотила их и семейства их, и шатры их, и все имущество их, которое было у них;
7 Al these great deeds of Yahweh you have seen with your own eyes.	7 ибо глаза ваши видели все великие дела Господа, которые Он сделал.
8 'You must keep al the commandments which I enjoin on you today, so that you may have the strengthto conquer the country into which you are about to cross, to take possession of it,	8 Итак соблюдайте все заповеди [Его], которые я заповедую вам сегодня, дабы вы укрепились и пошли и овладели землею, в которую вы переходите, чтоб овладеть ею;
9 and so that you may live long in the country which Yahweh promised on oath to bestow on yourancestors and their descendants, a country flowing with milk and honey.	9 и дабы вы жили много времени на той земле, которую клялся Господь отцам вашим дать им и семени их, на земле, в которой течет молоко и мед.
10 'For the country which you are about to enter and make your own is not like the country of Egyptfrom which you have come, where, having done your sowing, you had to water the seed by foot, as though in avegetable garden.	10 Ибо земля, в которую ты идешь, чтоб овладеть ею, не такова, как земля Египетская, из которой вышли вы, где ты, посеяв семя твое, поливал [ее] при помощи ног твоих, как масличный сад;
11 No, the country which you are about to enter and make your own, is a country of hills and val eyswatered by the rain of heaven.	11 но земля, в которую вы переходите, чтоб овладеть ею, есть земля с горами и долинами, и от дождя небесного напояется водою, --
12 Yahweh your God looks after this country, the eyes of Yahweh your God are always on it, from thebeginning of the year to the end.	12 земля, о которой Господь, Бог твой, печется: очи Господа, Бога твоего, непрестанно на ней, от начала года и до конца года.
13 Depend on it: if you faithfully obey the commandments I enjoin on you today, loving Yahweh yourGod and serving him with al your heart and al your soul,	13 Если вы будете слушать заповеди Мои, которые заповедую вам сегодня, любить Господа, Бога вашего, и служить Ему от всего сердца вашего и от всей души вашей,
14 I shal give your country rain at the right time, rain in autumn, rain in spring, so that you can harvestyour wheat, your new wine and your oil.	14 то дам земле вашей дождь в свое время, ранний и поздний; и ты соберешь хлеб твой и вино твое и елей твой;
15 I shal provide grass in the fields for your cattle, and you will eat to your heart's content.	15 и дам траву на поле твоем для скота твоего, и будешь есть и насыщаться.
16 Beware of letting your heart be seduced: if you go astray, serve other gods and bow down to them,	16 Берегитесь, чтобы не обольстилось сердце ваше, и вы не уклонились и не стали служить иным богам и не поклонились им;
17 Yahweh's anger wil be kindled against you, he wil shut the heavens, there wil be no more rain, thesoil wil not yield its produce and, in the fine country given you by Yahweh, you wil quickly perish.	17 и тогда воспламенится гнев Господа на вас, и заключит Он небо, и не будет дождя, и земля не принесет произведений своих, и вы скоро погибнете с доброй земли, которую Господь дает вам.
18 'Let these words of mine remain in your heart and in your soul; fasten them on your hand as a signand on your forehead as a headband.	18 Итак положите сии слова Мои в сердце ваше и в душу вашу, и навяжите их в знак на руку свою, и да будут они повязкою над глазами вашими;
19 Teach them to your children, and keep on tel ing them, when you are sitting at home, when you areout and about, when you are lying down and when you are standing up.	19 и учите им сыновей своих, говоря о них, когда ты сидишь в доме твоем, и когда идешь дорогою, и когда ложишься, и когда встаешь;
20 Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates,	20 и напиши их на косяках дома твоего и на воротах твоих,
21 so that you and your children may live long in the country which Yahweh swore to your ancestorsthat he would give them for as long as there is a sky above the earth.	21 дабы столько же много было дней ваших и дней детей ваших на той земле, которую Господь клялся дать отцам вашим, сколько дней небо будет над землею.
22 'For if you faithful y keep and observe al these commandments that I enjoin on you today, lovingYahweh your God, following all his ways and holding fast to him,	22 Ибо если вы будете соблюдать все заповеди сии, которые заповедую вам исполнять, будете любить Господа, Бога вашего, ходить всеми путями Его и прилепляться к Нему,
23 Yahweh wil dispossess al these nations before you, and you wil dispossess nations greater andmore powerful than yourselves.	23 то изгонит Господь все народы сии от лица вашего, и вы овладеете народами, которые больше и сильнее вас;
24 Wherever the sole of your foot treads wil be yours; your territory will run from the desert al the wayto the Lebanon; and from the River, from the River Euphrates, as far as the Western Sea, wil be your territory.	24 всякое место, на которое ступит нога ваша, будет ваше; от пустыни и Ливана, от реки, реки Евфрата, даже до моря западного будут пределы ваши;
25 No one wil be able to resist you; Yahweh your God will make you feared and dreaded throughout theterritory you tread, as he has promised you.	25 никто не устоит против вас: Господь, Бог ваш, наведет страх и трепет пред вами на всякую землю, на которую вы ступите, как Он говорил вам.
26 'Today, look, I am offering you a blessing and a curse:	26 Вот, я предлагаю вам сегодня благословение и проклятие:
27 a blessing, if you obey the commandments of Yahweh your God which I enjoin on you today;	27 благословение, если послушаете заповедей Господа, Бога вашего, которые я заповедую вам сегодня,
28 a curse, if you disobey the commandments of Yahweh your God and leave the way which today Ihave marked out for you, by following other gods hitherto unknown to you.	28 а проклятие, если не послушаете заповедей Господа, Бога вашего, и уклонитесь от пути, который заповедую вам сегодня, и пойдете вслед богов иных, которых вы не знаете.
29 And when Yahweh your God has brought you into the country which you are about to enter andmake your own, you must set the blessing on Mount Gerizim and the curse on Mount Ebal.	29 Когда введет тебя Господь, Бог твой, в ту землю, в которую ты идешь, чтоб овладеть ею, тогда произнеси благословение на горе Гаризим, а проклятие на горе Гевал:
30 (These mountains, as everyone knows, are on the other side of the Jordan on the westward road, inthe territory of the Canaanites who live in the Arabah, opposite Gilgal, near the Oak of Moreh.)	30 вот они за Иорданом, по дороге к захождению солнца, в земле Хананеев, живущих на равнине, против Галгала, близ дубравы Море.
31 For you are about to cross the Jordan, to enter and take possession of the country given you byYahweh your God. You wil possess it, you wil live in it,	31 Ибо вы переходите Иордан, чтобы пойти овладеть землею, которую Господь, Бог ваш, дает вам, и овладеете ею и будете жить на ней.
32 and you must keep and observe al the laws and customs promulgated by me to you today.'	32 Итак старайтесь соблюдать все постановления и законы [Его], которые предлагаю я вам сегодня.
