Deuteronomy 11

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 'You must love Yahweh your God and always keep his observances, his laws, his customs, hiscommandments.	1 فاحبب الرب الهك واحفظ حقوقه وفرائضه واحكامه ووصاياه كل الايام.
2 You are the ones who have had the experience, not your children. They have not had the experience,they have not witnessed the lessons of Yahweh your God, his greatness, his mighty hand and his outstretchedarm,	2 واعلموا اليوم اني لست اريد بنيكم الذين لم يعرفوا ولا رأوا تأديب الرب الهكم عظمته ويده الشديدة وذراعه الرفيعة
3 the signs and the deeds which he performed in the heart of Egypt, against Pharaoh king of Egypt andhis entire country,	3 وآياته وصنائعه التي عملها في مصر بفرعون ملك مصر وبكل ارضه
4 what he did to the armies of Egypt, to their horses and their chariots, by overwhelming them with thewaters of the Sea of Reeds when they were pursuing you, and leaving no trace of them to this day;	4 والتي عملها بجيش مصر بخليهم ومركباتهم حيث اطاف مياه بحر سوف على وجوهم حين سعوا وراءكم فابادهم الرب الى هذا اليوم
5 what he did for you in the desert, until you arrived here;	5 والتي عملها لكم في البرية حتى جئتم الى هذا المكان
6 what he did to Dathan and Abiram the sons of Eliab the Reubenite, when, with al Israel standinground, the earth opened its mouth and swal owed them, with their families, their tents and al their supporters.	6 والتي عملها بداثان وابيرام ابني اليآب ابن رأوبين اللذين فتحت الارض فاها وابتلعتهما مع بيوتهما وخيامهما وكل الموجودات التابعة لهما في وسط كل اسرائيل.
7 Al these great deeds of Yahweh you have seen with your own eyes.	7 لان اعينكم هي التي ابصرت كل صنائع الرب العظيمة التي عملها
8 'You must keep al the commandments which I enjoin on you today, so that you may have the strengthto conquer the country into which you are about to cross, to take possession of it,	8 فاحفظوا كل الوصايا التي انا اوصيكم بها اليوم لكي تتشددوا وتدخلوا وتمتلكوا الارض التي انتم عابرون اليها لتمتلكوها
9 and so that you may live long in the country which Yahweh promised on oath to bestow on yourancestors and their descendants, a country flowing with milk and honey.	9 ولكي تطيلوا الايام على الارض التي اقسم الرب لآبائكم ان يعطيها لهم ولنسلهم ارض تفيض لبنا وعسلا.
10 'For the country which you are about to enter and make your own is not like the country of Egyptfrom which you have come, where, having done your sowing, you had to water the seed by foot, as though in avegetable garden.	10 لان الارض التي انت داخل اليها لكي تمتلكها ليست مثل ارض مصر التي خرجت منها حيث كنت تزرع زرعك وتسقيه برجلك كبستان بقول.
11 No, the country which you are about to enter and make your own, is a country of hills and val eyswatered by the rain of heaven.	11 بل الارض التي انتم عابرون اليها لكي تمتلكوها هي ارض جبال وبقاع. من مطر السماء تشرب ماء.
12 Yahweh your God looks after this country, the eyes of Yahweh your God are always on it, from thebeginning of the year to the end.	12 ارض يعتني بها الرب الهك. عينا الرب الهك عليها دائما من اول السنة الى آخرها
13 Depend on it: if you faithfully obey the commandments I enjoin on you today, loving Yahweh yourGod and serving him with al your heart and al your soul,	13 فاذا سمعتم لوصاياي التي انا اوصيكم بها اليوم لتحبوا الرب الهكم وتعبدوه من كل قلوبكم ومن كل انفسكم
14 I shal give your country rain at the right time, rain in autumn, rain in spring, so that you can harvestyour wheat, your new wine and your oil.	14 اعطي مطر ارضكم في حينه المبكر والمتأخر. فتجمع حنطتك وخمرك وزيتك.
15 I shal provide grass in the fields for your cattle, and you will eat to your heart's content.	15 واعطي لبهائمك عشبا في حقلك فتأكل انت وتشبع.
16 Beware of letting your heart be seduced: if you go astray, serve other gods and bow down to them,	16 فاحترزوا من ان تنغوي قلوبكم فتزيغوا وتعبدوا آلهة اخرى وتسجدوا لها
17 Yahweh's anger wil be kindled against you, he wil shut the heavens, there wil be no more rain, thesoil wil not yield its produce and, in the fine country given you by Yahweh, you wil quickly perish.	17 فيحمى غضب الرب عليكم ويغلق السماء فلا يكون مطر ولا تعطي الارض غلتها. فتبيدون سريعا عن الارض الجيّدة التي يعطيكم الرب
18 'Let these words of mine remain in your heart and in your soul; fasten them on your hand as a signand on your forehead as a headband.	18 فضعوا كلماتي هذه على قلوبكم ونفوسكم واربطوها علامة على ايديكم ولتكن عصائب بين عيونكم.
19 Teach them to your children, and keep on tel ing them, when you are sitting at home, when you areout and about, when you are lying down and when you are standing up.	19 وعلّموها اولادكم متكلمين بها حين تجلسون في بيوتكم وحين تمشون في الطريق وحين تنامون وحين تقومون.
20 Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates,	20 واكتبها على قوائم ابواب بيتك وعلى ابوابك.
21 so that you and your children may live long in the country which Yahweh swore to your ancestorsthat he would give them for as long as there is a sky above the earth.	21 لكي تكثر ايامك وايام اولادك على الارض التي اقسم الرب لآبائك ان يعطيهم اياها كايام السماء على الارض.
22 'For if you faithful y keep and observe al these commandments that I enjoin on you today, lovingYahweh your God, following all his ways and holding fast to him,	22 لانه اذا حفظتم جميع هذه الوصايا التي انا اوصيكم بها لتعملوها. لتحبوا الرب الهكم وتسلكوا في جميع طرقه وتلتصقوا به
23 Yahweh wil dispossess al these nations before you, and you wil dispossess nations greater andmore powerful than yourselves.	23 يطرد الرب جميع هؤلاء الشعوب من امامكم فترثون شعوبا اكبر واعظم منكم.
24 Wherever the sole of your foot treads wil be yours; your territory will run from the desert al the wayto the Lebanon; and from the River, from the River Euphrates, as far as the Western Sea, wil be your territory.	24 كل مكان تدوسه بطون اقدامكم يكون لكم. من البرية ولبنان. من النهر نهر الفرات الى البحر الغربي يكون تخمكم.
25 No one wil be able to resist you; Yahweh your God will make you feared and dreaded throughout theterritory you tread, as he has promised you.	25 لا يقف انسان في وجهكم. الرب الهكم يجعل خشيتكم ورعبكم على كل الارض التي تدوسونها كما كلمكم
26 'Today, look, I am offering you a blessing and a curse:	26 انظر. انا واضع امامكم اليوم بركة ولعنة.
27 a blessing, if you obey the commandments of Yahweh your God which I enjoin on you today;	27 البركة اذا سمعتم لوصايا الرب الهكم التي انا اوصيكم بها اليوم.
28 a curse, if you disobey the commandments of Yahweh your God and leave the way which today Ihave marked out for you, by following other gods hitherto unknown to you.	28 واللعنة اذا لم تسمعوا لوصايا الرب الهكم وزغتم عن الطريق التي انا اوصيكم بها اليوم لتذهبوا وراء آلهة اخرى لم تعرفوها.
29 And when Yahweh your God has brought you into the country which you are about to enter andmake your own, you must set the blessing on Mount Gerizim and the curse on Mount Ebal.	29 واذا جاء بك الرب الهك الى الارض التي انت داخل اليها لكي تمتلكها فاجعل البركة على جبل جرزيم واللعنة على جبل عيبال.
30 (These mountains, as everyone knows, are on the other side of the Jordan on the westward road, inthe territory of the Canaanites who live in the Arabah, opposite Gilgal, near the Oak of Moreh.)	30 اما هما في عبر الاردن وراء طريق غروب الشمس في ارض الكنعانيين الساكنين في العربة مقابل الجلجال بجانب بلوطات مورة.
31 For you are about to cross the Jordan, to enter and take possession of the country given you byYahweh your God. You wil possess it, you wil live in it,	31 لانكم عابرون الاردن لتدخلوا وتمتلكوا الارض التي الرب الهكم يعطيكم. تمتلكونها وتسكنونها.
32 and you must keep and observe al the laws and customs promulgated by me to you today.'	32 فاحفظوا جميع الفرائض والاحكام التي انا واضع امامكم اليوم لتعملوها
