18 This is how Jesus Christ came to be born. 24 When Joseph woke up he did what the angel of the Lord had told him to do: he took his wife to hishome;	24 Destatosi dal sonno, Giuseppe fece come gli aveva ordinato l'angelo del Signore e prese con sé la sua sposa;
25 he had not had intercourse with her when she gave birth to a son; and he named him Jesus.	25 ma non si accostò a lei, fino alla nascita del figlio; e gli pose nome Gesù.
