Zechariah 6

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA RICCIOTTI
1 Again I raised my eyes, and this is what I saw: four chariots coming out between two mountains, andthe mountains were mountains of bronze.	1 - Allora mi voltai e alzai gli occhi e osservai, ed ecco quattro cocchi uscire di mezzo alle due montagne e le montagne erano di bronzo;
2 The first chariot had red horses, the second chariot had black horses,	2 al primo cocchio erano cavalli rossi; al secondo cocchio cavalli neri;
3 the third chariot had white horses and the fourth chariot had vigorous, piebald horses.	3 al terzo cocchio cavalli bianchi; e al quarto cocchio cavalli pezzati e forti.
4 I asked the angel who was talking to me, 'What are these, my lord?'	4 E presi a dire all'angelo che mi parlava: - Che sono tali cose, signore mio? -
5 The angel replied, 'They are the four winds of heaven now leaving, after attending the Lord of the wholeworld.	5 E l'angelo mi rispose e disse: - Questi sono i quattro vènti del cielo che escono per presentarsi dinanzi al Dominatore di tutta la terra. -
6 The black horses are leaving for the land of the north; the white are following them, and the piebald areleaving for the land of the south.'	6 Il cocchio dai cavalli neri usciva verso la terra di settentrione; e dietro uscirono i bianchi; e i pezzati uscirono verso i paesi del mezzodì;
7 They came out vigorously, eager to patrol the world. He said to them, 'Go and patrol the world.' Andthey patrol ed the world.	7 e quelli che erano fortissimi uscirono e si accingevano per andare da tutte le quattro parti della terra. Ed egli disse: - Andate, scorrete la terra! - Ed essi scorsero la terra.
8 He called to me and said, 'Look, the ones going to the land of the north brought my spirit to rest on theland of the north.'	8 Poi mi chiamò e mi parlò dicendo: - Ecco, quelli che escono verso il settentrione hanno dato riposo al mio spirito riguardo alla terra del settentrione. -
9 Then the word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	9 E la parola del Signore mi fu comunicata dicendomi:
10 'Col ect silver and gold from the exiles, from Heldai, Tobijah and Jedaiah, then (you yourself go thesame day) go to the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah, who has arrived from Babylon.	10 - Prendi da quelli della trasmigrazione, da Oldai e da Tobia e da Idaia, quel giorno che ti recherai alla casa di Josia, figlio di Sofonia, dove sono venuti da Babilonia,
11 Then, taking the silver and gold, make a crown and place it on the head of the high priest Joshua sonof Jehozadak.	11 prendi dunque l'oro e l'argento e ne farai corone e le metterai sul capo di Gesù, figlio di Josedec, sommo sacerdote;
12 And say this to him, "Yahweh Sabaoth says this: Here is a man whose name is Branch; where he is,there will be a branching out (and he wil rebuild Yahweh's sanctuary).	12 e parlerai a lui e gli dirai: "Così dice il Signore degli eserciti: Ecco un uomo il cui nome è Oriente, dal di sotto spunterà, ed edificherà il tempio del Signore.
13 Yes, he is the one who wil rebuild Yahweh's sanctuary; he wil wear the royal insignia and sit on histhrone and govern, with a priest on his right. Perfect peace wil reign between these two.	13 Egli edificherà il tempio al Signore e sarà rivestito della gloria e sederà, e dominerà sul suo seggio, e sarà sacerdote sul suo seggio, e fra quei due vi sarà intesa di pace". -
14 And the crown wil serve Heldai, Tobijah, Jedaiah and the son of Zephaniah as a memorial of favour inYahweh's sanctuary.	14 E le corone resteranno nel tempio del Signore per ricordo di Elem e di Tobia, di Idaia e di Em, figlio di Sofonia.
15 And those now far away wil come and work on the building of Yahweh's sanctuary." 'Then you willknow that Yahweh Sabaoth has sent me to you. It wil happen if you diligently obey the voice of Yahweh yourGod.'	15 E verranno quelli dei paesi lontani e coopereranno all'edificazione del tempio del Signore, e voi conoscerete che il Signore degli eserciti mi ha mandato a voi. Ma questo avverrà se darete ascolto alla voce del Signore Dio nostro».
