NEW JERUSALEM	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 After this plague, Yahweh spoke to Moses and to the priest Eleazar son of Aaron and said:	1 Depois desse flagelo disse o Senhor a Moisés e a Eleazar, filho do sacerdote Aarão:
2 'Take a census of the whole community of Israelites, by families: al those of twenty years and over, fitto bear arms in Israel.'	2 "Fazei o recenseamento de toda a assembléia dos israelitas da idade de vinte anos para cima, família por família, todos os que estiverem em condições de pegar em armas."
3 So Moses and the priest Eleazar took a census of them on the Plains of Moab, near the Jordan byJericho. They counted	3 Moisés e o sacerdote Eleazar disseram pois nas planícies de Moab, às margens do Jordão, perto de Jericó:
4 (as Yahweh had ordered Moses and the Israelites after leaving Egypt) men of twenty years and over:	4 "Serão recenseados todos os que tiverem a idade de vinte anos para cima, como o Senhor ordenou a Moisés e aos israelitas ao saírem do Egito.
5 Reuben, the first-born of Israel. The sons of Reuben: for Hanoch, the Hanochite clan; for Pal u, thePal uite clan;	5 Rubem primogênito de Israel, Filhos de Rubem: de Henoc, a família dos henoquitas; de Falu, a família dos faluítas;

7 These were the Reubenite clans. They numbered forty-three thousand seven hundred and thirty men.	7 Estas são as famílias dos rubenitas; seus recenseados foram em número de 43.730.
8 The sons of Pallu: Eliab.	8 Filho de Falu, Eliab.
9 The sons of Eliab: Nemuel, Dathan and Abiram. These two, Dathan and Abiram, men of repute in thecommunity, were the ones who revolted against Moses and Aaron; they belonged to Korah's group when itrevolted against Yahweh.	9 Filhos de Eliab Namuel, Datã e Abiron. 10 The earth opened its mouth and swallowed them (with Korah when that group perished), when fireconsumed the two hundred and fifty men. 22 These were the clans of Judah. They numbered seventy-six thousand five hundred men.	22 Tais são as famílias de Judá; seus recenseados foram 76.500.

43 All the Shuhamite clans numbered sixty-four thousand four hundred men.	43 Total das famílias dos suamitas: seus recenseados foram 64.400.
44 The sons of Asher by clans: for Imnah, the Imnahite clan; for Ishvi, the Ishvihite clan; for Beriah, theBeriahite clan.	44 Filhos de Aser, classificados por famílias: de Jemna, a família dos jemnaítas; de Jessui, a família dos jesuítas; de Bria, a família dos briaítas;

46 The daughter of Asher was called Serah.	46 O nome da filha de Aser era Sara.

48 The sons of Naphtali by clans: for Jahzeel, the Jahzeelite clan; for Guni, the Gunite clan;	48 Filhos de Neftali, classificados por famílias: de Jesiel, a família dos jesielitas; de Guni, a família dos gunitas;
49 for Jezer, the Jezerite clan; for Shil em, the Shil emite clan.	49 de Jeser, a família dos jeseritas; de Selem, a família dos selemitas.
50 These were the clans of Naphtali as divided into clans. The sons of Naphtali numbered forty-fivethousand four hundred men.	50 Estas são as famílias de Neftali classificadas por famílias; seus recenseados foram 45.400.
51 Of the Israelites thus numbered, there were six hundred and one thousand seven hundred and thirtymen.	51 Eis o total dos israelitas recenseados: 601.730.
52 Yahweh then spoke to Moses and said,	52 O Senhor disse a Moisés:
53 'The country must be shared out among these as a heritage, proportionately to the number of thoseinscribed.	53 "A terra será dividida entre estes, segundo o número de suas pessoas, para que eles a possuam como herança.
54 To the large in number you wil give a large area of land, to the smal in number a small area; toeach the heritage wil be in proportion to the number registered.	54 Aos mais numerosos darás uma parte maior, e aos que forem menos, uma menor; cada um receberá uma parte proporcional ao número dos recenseados.
55 The sharing out of the country must, however, be done by lot. Each wil receive a heritageproportionate to the number of names in their patriarchal tribes;	55 Todavia, é a sorte que decidirá a divisão da terra. Eles receberão a sua parte segundo os nomes das tribos patriarcais.

59 Amram's wife was cal ed Jokebed daughter of Levi, born to him in Egypt. To Amram she boreAaron, Moses and Miriam their sister.	59 cuja mulher se chamava Jocabed, filha de Levi, nascida no Egito. Ela deu a Amrão: Aarão, Moisés e Maria, sua irmã.
60 Aaron fathered Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.	60 Aarão teve os filhos: Nadab, Abiú, Eleazar e ltamar.
61 Nadab and Abihu died when they brought unauthorised fire before Yahweh.	61 Nadab e Abiú morreram quando apresentaram diante do Senhor um fogo estranho.}
62 Altogether twenty-three thousand males of one month and over were registered. They were notregistered with the Israelites, since they were given no heritage with the Israelites.	62 Recenseados os levitas, todos os varões da idade de um mês para cima somaram 23.000. Não foram contados no recenseamento dos israelitas, porque não se lhes havia destinado nenhum patrimônio no meio deles.
63 Such were the men registered by Moses and the priest Eleazar who took a census of the Israeliteson the Plains of Moab near the Jordan by Jericho.	63 Tal é o recenseamento dos israelitas que fizeram Moisés e o sacerdote Eleazar nas planícies de Moab, às margens do Jordão, perto de Jericó.
64 Not one of them was among those whom Moses and the priest Aaron had registered when theycounted the Israelites in the desert of Sinai;	64 Não se achou entre eles nenhum daqueles que tinham sido recenseados antes por Moisés e Aarão no deserto do Sinai,
65 for Yahweh had told them that these were to die in the desert and that none of them would be leftexcept Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.	65 porque o Senhor dissera deles: "Morrerão no deserto." Não ficou nenhum deles, exceto Caleb, filho de Jefoné, e Josué, filho de Nun.
