46 The daughter of Asher was called Serah.	46 Áser lányának neve pedig Sára volt.

48 The sons of Naphtali by clans: for Jahzeel, the Jahzeelite clan; for Guni, the Gunite clan;	48 Naftali fiai, nemzetségeik szerint: Jesziel, ettől a jeszieliták nemzetsége, Gúni, akitől a gúniták nemzetsége,

50 These were the clans of Naphtali as divided into clans. The sons of Naphtali numbered forty-fivethousand four hundred men.	50 ezek voltak Naftali fiainak családjai, nemzetségeik szerint, számuk negyvenötezer-négyszáz.
51 Of the Israelites thus numbered, there were six hundred and one thousand seven hundred and thirtymen.	51 Izrael megszámlált fiainak száma összesen a következő volt: hatszázegyezer-hétszázharminc.
52 Yahweh then spoke to Moses and said,	52 Így szólt ekkor az Úr Mózeshez:
53 'The country must be shared out among these as a heritage, proportionately to the number of thoseinscribed.	53 »Ezek között kell majd elosztani az országot birtokul, a nevek számához képest.
54 To the large in number you wil give a large area of land, to the smal in number a small area; toeach the heritage wil be in proportion to the number registered.	54 A nagyobb nemzetségnek nagyobb részt adj, a kisebbnek kisebbet, mindegyiknek a mostani számlálás eredményéhez képest kell adni birtokot,
55 The sharing out of the country must, however, be done by lot. Each wil receive a heritageproportionate to the number of names in their patriarchal tribes;	55 úgy azonban, hogy a sors ossza el a törzsek és a nemzetségek között a földet:
56 the heritage of each tribe wil be shared out by lot, depending on its larger or smal er numbers.'	56 amit a sors megszab, azt kapják azok is, akik sokan vannak, azok is, akik kevesen.«
57 These, by clans, are the Levites that were registered: for Gershon, the Gershonite clan; for Kohath,the Kohathite clan; for Merari, the Merarite clan.	57 Lévi fiainak jegyzéke, nemzetségeik szerint, a következő volt: Gerson, akitől a gersoniták nemzetsége, Kaát, akitől a kaátiták nemzetsége, Merári, akitől a meráriták nemzetsége származott.
58 These are the Levite clans: the Libnite clan, the Hebronite clan, the Mahlite clan, the Mushite clan,the Korahite clan. Kohath fathered Amram.	58 Lévi nemzetségei a következők voltak: Libni nemzetsége, Hebroni nemzetsége, Moholi nemzetsége, Músi nemzetsége, Kóré nemzetsége. – Kaát pedig nemzette Amrámot;
59 Amram's wife was cal ed Jokebed daughter of Levi, born to him in Egypt. To Amram she boreAaron, Moses and Miriam their sister.	59 ennek felesége Jókebed, Lévi lánya volt, aki Egyiptomban született Lévinek; ő szülte Amrámnak, a férjének Mózest és Áront, a fiúkat és Mirjámot, a nővérüket.
60 Aaron fathered Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.	60 Árontól származott: Nádáb, Ábiu, Eleazár és Itamár;
61 Nadab and Abihu died when they brought unauthorised fire before Yahweh.	61 ezek közül Nádáb és Ábiu meghalt, amikor idegen tüzet vitt az Úr elé.
62 Altogether twenty-three thousand males of one month and over were registered. They were notregistered with the Israelites, since they were given no heritage with the Israelites.	62 Az egyhónapos és annál idősebb férfiak, akiket megszámláltak összesen huszonháromezren voltak; de ezeket nem számlálták Izrael fiai közé, s nekik nem is adtak birtokot a többiek között.
63 Such were the men registered by Moses and the priest Eleazar who took a census of the Israeliteson the Plains of Moab near the Jordan by Jericho.	63 Ez a jegyzéke Izrael azon fiainak, akiket Mózes és Eleazár, a pap, Moáb mezőségén, a Jordán mellett, Jerikóval átellenben írt össze.
64 Not one of them was among those whom Moses and the priest Aaron had registered when theycounted the Israelites in the desert of Sinai;	64 Ezek között egy sem volt azokból, akiket Mózes és Áron azelőtt a Sínai pusztájában számlált össze,
65 for Yahweh had told them that these were to die in the desert and that none of them would be leftexcept Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.	65 mert az Úr előre megmondta, hogy azok mindnyájan meghalnak a pusztában, s nem is maradt életben közülük senki sem, csak Káleb, Jefóne fia és Józsue, Nún fia.
