1 ' "This is the list of the tribes. One portion in the far north by way of Hethlon to the Pass of Hamath, toHazer-Enon, with the territory of Damascus to the north, and marching with Hamath, from the eastern limit to thewestern limit: Dan.	1 Ecco i nomi delle tribù: dall'estremità settentrionale lungo la via di Hetalon per andare a Emat, l'atrio di Enan, il confine di Damasco, a settentrione, lungo la strada di Emat, dal limite orientale al mare, Dan avrà una porzione.
2 One portion bordering Dan, from the eastern limit to the western limit: Asher.	2 E dai confini di Dan, dal limite orientale al mare, Aser avrà una porzione.
3 One portion bordering Asher, from the eastern limit to the western limit: Naphtali.	3 E dai confini di Aser, dai limiti orientali al mare, Nettali avrà una porzione.
4 One portion bordering Naphtali, from the eastern limit to the western limit: Manasseh.	4 E dai confini di Nettali, dai limiti orientali al mare, Manasse avrà una porzione.

8 One portion bordering Judah, from the eastern limit to the western limit, is the portion which you mustset aside, twenty-five thousand cubits wide, and as long as each of the other portions from the eastern limit tothe western limit. The sanctuary wil be in the centre of it.	8 E dai confini di Giuda, dai limiti orientali al mare, vi saranno le primizie, che voi consacrerete: (si estenderanno cubiti) venti cinquemila in larghezza e in lunghezza, come le altre parti dai limiti orientali al mare, e il santuario sarà nel mezzo.
9 "The portion which you must set aside for Yahweh must be twenty-five thousand cubits long and tenthousand cubits wide.	9 Le primizie, che voi separerete pel Signore, avran venticinquemila (cubiti) di lunghezza e diecimila di larghezza.
10 This sacred portion must belong to the priests, being, on the north side, twenty-five thousand cubits;on the west side ten thousand cubits wide, on the east side ten thousand cubits wide and on the south sidetwenty-five thousand cubits long; the sanctuary of Yahweh wil be in the centre of it.	10 Queste saran le primizie del santuario e dei sacerdoti: a settentrione venticinque mila (cubiti) di lunghezza, dal lato del mare diecimila di larghezza ed anche ad oriente diecimila di larghezza e venticinquemila di lunghezza a mezzogiorno: e nel mezzo vi sarà il santuario del Signore.
11 This wil be for the consecrated priests, those of the sons of Zadok who maintained my liturgy and didnot go astray with the straying Israelites, as the Levites went astray.	11 Sarà luogo santo riservato ai sacerdoti figli di Sadoc, i quali hanno osservate le mie cerimonie, e non caddero in errore quando andarono fuor di strada i figli d'Israele, non caddero in errore come i Leviti.
12 And so their portion must be taken out of the especial y holy portion of the land, near the territory ofthe Levites.	12 E delle primizie della terra, avranno una primizia santissima, vicino ai confini di quella dei Leviti.
13 The territory of the Levites, like the territory of the priests, must be twenty-five thousand cubits longand ten thousand wide -- the whole length being twenty-five thousand and the width ten thousand.	13 Cosi i Leviti in ugual maniera, avranno, vicino ai confini dei sacerdoti, venticinquemila (cubiti) di lunghezza, e diecimila di larghezza: tutta la lunghezza sarà di venticinquemila, e la larghezza di diecimila.
14 It wil be il egal for them to sell or exchange any part of it, and the domain can never be alienated,since it is consecrated to Yahweh.	14 E riguardo a questo non potranno nè vendere nè permutare, e le primizie della terra non passeranno ad altri, perchè sono consacrate al Signore.
15 As regards the remainder, an area of five thousand cubits by twenty-five thousand, this must be forthe common use of the city, for houses and pastures. In the middle wil be the city.	15 E i cinquemila (cubiti) che rimangono di larghezza dei venticinquemila, saranno (terreno) profano, per le abitazioni della città, e pei sobborghi, e la città sarà in mezzo.
16 These wil be its dimensions: on the north side, four thousand five hundred cubits; on the south side,four thousand five hundred cubits; on the east side, four thousand five hundred cubits; on the west side, fourthousand five hundred cubits.	16 Èd ecco le sue misure: a settentrione, (cubiti) quattromila cinquecento; a mezzodì, quattromila cinquecento; a oriente, quattromila cinquecento; a occidente, quattromila cinquecento.
17 The pasture land of the city must extend two hundred and fifty cubits to the north, two hundred andfifty to the south, two hundred and fifty to the east, two hundred and fifty to the west.	17 E i sobborghi della città avranno a settentrione (cubiti) dugento cinquanta, a mezzodì dugento cinquanta, a oriente dugento cinquanta, dalla parte del mare dugento cinquanta.
18 One strip, contiguous to the sacred portion, must be left over, consisting of ten thousand cubits toeastward and ten thousand to westward, marching with the sacred portion; this wil bring in a revenue for feedingthe municipal workmen.	18 E quello che rimarrà in lunghezza accanto alle primizie del santuario, diecimila (cubiti) a oriente, e diecimila a occidente, saran come le primizie del santuario, e i prodotti di quel terreno serviranno al nutrimento di quelli che servono la città.
19 And the municipal workmen, drawn from al the tribes of Israel, wil farm it.	19 Or quelli che lavoreranno a servizio della città saranno di tutte le tribù d'Israele.
20 The portion must have a total area of twenty-five thousand cubits by twenty-five thousand. You mustal ocate a square area from the sacred portion to constitute the city.	20 Tutte le primizie, di venticinque mila (cubiti) quadrati, saranno separate per essere primizie del santuario e in dominio della città.
21 What is left over wil be for the prince, on either side of the sacred portion and of the property of thecity, marching with the twenty-five thousand cubits to eastward to the eastern frontier, and marching with thetwenty-five thousand cubits to westward to the western frontier -- running paral el with the other portions andbelonging to the prince. In the centre wil be the sacred portion and the sanctuary of the Temple.	21 E quello che vi rimarrà sarà del principe, da ogni parte delle primizie del santuario e del dominio della città, a partire dai venticinquemila (cubiti) delle primizie sino al confine orientale, ed anche dalla parte del mare, a partir dai venticinquemila (cubiti) sino ai confini del mare, parallela alle parti, sarà del principe, e le primizie del santuario e il santuario del tempio vi starà in mezzo.
22 Thus, apart from the property of the Levites and the property of the city which lie in the middle of theprince's portion, everything between the borders of Judah and the borders of Ben- jamin must belong to theprince.	22 Così a partir dai possessi dei Leviti e dai possessi della città, in mezzo alla porzione del principe, quel che sarà tra i confini di Giuda e confini di Beniamino apparterrà al principe.

28 On the southern border of Gad, on the south side, the border will run from Tamar to the Waters ofMeribah in Kadesh, to the Wadi and the Great Sea.	28 E dal confine di Gad dal lato australe nel mezzodì, il confine sarà da Tamar alle Acque di Contraddizione di Cades, e lungo il torrente che va al mare grande.
29 This is how you must distribute the country to the tribes of Israel as their heritage, and these must betheir portions -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	29 Questa è la terra che distribuirete a sorte alle tribù d'Israele, e queste sono le loro porzioni — dice il Signore Dio.
30 "Here are the exits from the city. On the north side, four thousand five hundred cubits are to bemeasured off.	30 Or ecco le uscite della città. Dal lato settentrionale misurerai quattromila cinquecento (cubiti);
31 The gates of the city are to be named after the tribes of Israel. Three gates to the north: one the gateof Reuben; one the gate of Judah; one the gate of Levi.	31 e le porte della città prenderanno il nome dalle tribù d'Israele: a settentrione tre porte: una di Ruben, una di Giuda, una di Levi.
32 On the east side, there will be four thousand five hundred cubits and three gates: one the gate ofJoseph; one the gate of Benjamin; one the gate of Dan.	32 Ed anche dal lato orientale quattromila cinquecento (cubiti) e tre porte: una di Giuseppe, una di Beniamino, una di Dan.
33 On the south side, four thousand five hundred cubits are to be measured off, and there are to bethree gates: one the gate of Simeon; one the gate of Issachar; one the gate of Zebulun.	33 Ed anche dalla parte meridionale misurerai quattromila cinquecento (cubiti) e vi saranno tre porte: una di Simeone, una di Issacar, una di Zàbulon.
34 On the west side, there wil be four thousand five hundred cubits and three gates: one the gate ofGad; one the gate of Asher; one the gate of Naphtali.	34 Ed anche dal lato occidentale quattromila cinquecento (cubiti) e tre porte: una di Gad, una di Aser, una di Nettali.
35 Total perimeter: eighteen thousand cubits. "The name of the city in future must be: Yahweh-is-there."'	35 Il Suo circuito sarà di diciottomila (cubiti) e da quel giorno il nome della città (sarà): ivi è il Signore.
