1 ' "This is the list of the tribes. One portion in the far north by way of Hethlon to the Pass of Hamath, toHazer-Enon, with the territory of Damascus to the north, and marching with Hamath, from the eastern limit to thewestern limit: Dan.	1 Or ecco i nomi delle tribù dall'estremità settentrionale lungo la strada di Ethalon per andare ad Emath; l'atrio di Enan è confine dalla parte di Damasco a settentrione lungo la strada di Emath; e la regione orientatele il mare termineranno la porzione di Dan.

8 One portion bordering Judah, from the eastern limit to the western limit, is the portion which you mustset aside, twenty-five thousand cubits wide, and as long as each of the other portions from the eastern limit tothe western limit. The sanctuary wil be in the centre of it.	8 E da' confini di Giuda, da oriente fino al mare, saranno le primizie, le quali voi consagrerete, venticinque mila misure di larghezza, e di lunghezza (avranno) secondo che hanno ognuna delle porzioni da oriente fino al mare: e il santuario sarà nel mezzo.
9 "The portion which you must set aside for Yahweh must be twenty-five thousand cubits long and tenthousand cubits wide.	9 Le primizie, che voi separarete pel Signore, saranno di venticinque mila misure in lunghezza, e di dieci di larghezza.
10 This sacred portion must belong to the priests, being, on the north side, twenty-five thousand cubits;on the west side ten thousand cubits wide, on the east side ten thousand cubits wide and on the south sidetwenty-five thousand cubits long; the sanctuary of Yahweh wil be in the centre of it.	10 Or queste saran le primizie delluogo santo de' sacerdoti: venticinquemila misure di lunghezza a settentrione, e dieci mila di larghezza verso il mare e ad oriente dieci mila di larghezza, e venticinque mila di lunghezza a mezzodì: e nel mezzo saravvi il santuario del Signore.
11 This wil be for the consecrated priests, those of the sons of Zadok who maintained my liturgy and didnot go astray with the straying Israelites, as the Levites went astray.	11 Tutto questo sarà luogo santo pe' sacerdoti figliuoli di Sadoc, i quali hanno osservate le mie cerimonie, e non caddero in errore allorché erravano i figliuoli d'Israele, come errarono anche i Leviti.
12 And so their portion must be taken out of the especial y holy portion of the land, near the territory ofthe Levites.	12 E delle primizie della terra avranno primizia santissima a' confini di quella dei Leviti.
13 The territory of the Levites, like the territory of the priests, must be twenty-five thousand cubits longand ten thousand wide -- the whole length being twenty-five thousand and the width ten thousand.	13 E similmente i Leviti dopo la porzione de' sacerdoti avranno venti cinque mila misure di lunghezza, e diecimila di larghezza. Tutta la lunghezza (di lor porzione sarà) di venticinquemila misure, e la larghezza di diecimila.
14 It wil be il egal for them to sell or exchange any part of it, and the domain can never be alienated,since it is consecrated to Yahweh.	14 E di questo non potranno far vendita, né permuta, né faranno passaggio ad altri le primizie: perocché sono consagrate al Signore.
15 As regards the remainder, an area of five thousand cubits by twenty-five thousand, this must be forthe common use of the city, for houses and pastures. In the middle wil be the city.	15 E le cinque mila misure, che rimangono di larghezza delle venti cinque mila, saranno spazio profano per le abitazioni della città, e pe' sobborghi, e in mezzo di questo spazio sarà la città.
16 These wil be its dimensions: on the north side, four thousand five hundred cubits; on the south side,four thousand five hundred cubits; on the east side, four thousand five hundred cubits; on the west side, fourthousand five hundred cubits.	16 Ed ecco le sue misure: a settentrione quattro mila, e cinquecento; e a mezzodì quattro mila, e cinquecento, e a oriente quattro mila, e cinquecento, e ad occidente quattro mila, e cinque cento.
17 The pasture land of the city must extend two hundred and fifty cubits to the north, two hundred andfifty to the south, two hundred and fifty to the east, two hundred and fifty to the west.	17 E i sobborghi della città, a settentrione dugento, e cinquanta, e a mezzodì dugento, e cinquanta, e a oriente dugento, e cinquanta, e dalla parte del mare dugento cinquanta misure.
18 One strip, contiguous to the sacred portion, must be left over, consisting of ten thousand cubits toeastward and ten thousand to westward, marching with the sacred portion; this wil bring in a revenue for feedingthe municipal workmen.	18 E quello, che rimarravvi in lunghezza presso alle primizie del luogo santo, dieci mila misure a oriente, e dieci mila a occidente, anderanno appresso alle primizie sante, e i frutti di quel terreno serviranno al nutrimento di coloro, che servono alla città.
19 And the municipal workmen, drawn from al the tribes of Israel, wil farm it.	19 Or quei, che s'impiegheranno al servigio della città, saranno di tutte le tribù d'Israele.
20 The portion must have a total area of twenty-five thousand cubits by twenty-five thousand. You mustal ocate a square area from the sacred portion to constitute the city.	20 Tutte le primizie di venticinque mila misure in quadrato saran separate per esser primizie del santuario, e (per esser) la porzione della città.
21 What is left over wil be for the prince, on either side of the sacred portion and of the property of thecity, marching with the twenty-five thousand cubits to eastward to the eastern frontier, and marching with thetwenty-five thousand cubits to westward to the western frontier -- running paral el with the other portions andbelonging to the prince. In the centre wil be the sacred portion and the sanctuary of the Temple.	21 E quello, che vi rimarrà all'intomo di tutte le primizie del santuario, e della porzione assegnata alla città dirimpetto alle venticinque mila misure delle primizie, sino al confine orientale, sarà del principe: e similmente dalla parte del mare dirimpetto alle venticinque mila misure sino al confine del mare sarà assegnato al principe, e le primizie del santuario, e il santo luogo del tempio resteranno nel bel mezzo.
22 Thus, apart from the property of the Levites and the property of the city which lie in the middle of theprince's portion, everything between the borders of Judah and the borders of Ben- jamin must belong to theprince.	22 E la possessione de' Leviti, e la possessione della città sarà nel mezzo della porzione del principe: quel, che è tramezzo tral confine di Giuda, e il confine di Beniamin apparterrà al principe.
23 "As regards the rest of the tribes: One portion from the eastern limit to the western limit: Benjamin.	23 Quanto alle altre tribù, da oriente fino a occidente, una porzione per Beniamin.
24 One portion bordering Benjamin, from the eastern limit to the western limit: Simeon.	24 E da' confini di Beniamin, da oriente fino in occidente, una porzione per Simeone.
25 One portion bordering Simeon, from the eastern limit to the western limit: Issachar.	25 E dal confine di Simeone, da oriente fino in occidente, una porzione per Issachar.
26 One portion bordering Issachar, from the eastern limit to the western limit: Zebulun.	26 E dal confine d'Issachar, da oriente fino in occidente, una porzione per Zàbulon.
27 One portion bordering Zebulun, from the eastern limit to the western limit: Gad.	27 E dal confine di Zàbulon, da oriente fino al mare, una porzione per Gad.
28 On the southern border of Gad, on the south side, the border will run from Tamar to the Waters ofMeribah in Kadesh, to the Wadi and the Great Sea.	28 E dal confine di Gad è la regione di mezzodì: e suo confine egli è da Thamar fino alle acque di contraddizione, in Cades: la sua eredità dirimpetto al mar grande.

31 The gates of the city are to be named after the tribes of Israel. Three gates to the north: one the gateof Reuben; one the gate of Judah; one the gate of Levi.	31 E le porte della città prenderannome dalle tribù d'Israele: a settentrione tre porte, una porta di Ruben, una di Giuda, una di Levi.
32 On the east side, there will be four thousand five hundred cubits and three gates: one the gate ofJoseph; one the gate of Benjamin; one the gate of Dan.	32 E a oriente misurerai quattro mila, e cinquecento misure, e vi saranno tre porte, una di Giuseppe, una di Beniamin, una di Dan.
33 On the south side, four thousand five hundred cubits are to be measured off, and there are to bethree gates: one the gate of Simeon; one the gate of Issachar; one the gate of Zebulun.	33 E a mezzodì misurerai quattro mila, e cinquecento misure, e vi saran tre porte, una porta di Simeone, una d'Issachar, e una di Zabulon.
34 On the west side, there wil be four thousand five hundred cubits and three gates: one the gate ofGad; one the gate of Asher; one the gate of Naphtali.	34 E all'occidente misurerai quattro mila, e cinquecento misure, e vi saran tre porte, una porta di Gad, una porta di Aser, una porta di Nephthali.
35 Total perimeter: eighteen thousand cubits. "The name of the city in future must be: Yahweh-is-there."'	35 Il suo circuito sarà di diciotto mila misure, e il nome della città dopo quel giorno: Quivi sta il Signore.
