Ezekiel 24

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 In the ninth year, on the tenth day of the tenth month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to me asfol ows,	1 وكان كلام الرب اليّ في السنة التاسعة في الشهر العاشر في العاشر من الشهر قائلا
2 'Son of man, write down today's date, yes, today's, for this very day the king of Babylon began hisattack on Jerusalem.	2 يا ابن آدم اكتب لنفسك اسم اليوم هذا اليوم بعينه فان ملك بابل قد اقترب الى اورشليم هذا اليوم بعينه.
3 So pronounce a parable for this tribe of rebels. Say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: Put the pot on thefire; put it on; pour the water in!	3 واضرب مثلا للبيت المتمرد وقل لهم. هكذا قال السيد الرب. ضع القدر. ضعها وايضا صبّ فيها ماء.
4 Now put the cuts of meat al in together, al the best cuts, leg and shoulder. Fill it with the best bones.	4 اجمع اليها قطعها كل قطعة طيبة الفخذ والكتف. املأوها بخيار العظام.
5 Take the best of the flock, then heap wood underneath; boil it thoroughly until even the bones arecooked.	5 خذ من خيار الغنم وكومة العظام تحتها. إغلها اغلاء فتسلق ايضا عظامها في وسطها
6 "For the Lord Yahweh says this: Disaster is in store for the bloody city, for that rusty cooking pot whose rust wil not come off! Empty it, bit by bit, not bothering to draw lots;	6 لذلك هكذا قال السيد الرب. ويل لمدينة الدماء القدر التي فيها زنجارها وما خرج منها زنجارها. اخرجوها قطعة قطعة. لا تقع عليها قرعة.
7 for she is stil ful of bloodshed, she has put blood on the naked rock; she did not pour it on the groundso as to cover it with dust.	7 لان دمها في وسطها. قد وضعته على ضحّ الصخر لم ترقه على الارض لتواريه بالتراب.
8 To make anger rise, to exact vengeance, I have put her blood on the naked rock, so that it should notbe covered:	8 لصعود الغضب لتنقم نقمة وضعت دمها على ضحّ الصخر. لئلا يوارى.
9 "So, the Lord Yahweh says this: Disaster is in store for the bloody city! I too plan to build a great fire.	9 لذلك هكذا قال السيد الرب ويل لمدينة الدماء. اني انا اعظم كومتها.
10 Heap on the wood, light it, cook the meat, prepare the seasoning let the bones burn!	10 كثّر الحطب اضرم النار. انضج اللحم تبله تتبيلا ولتحرق العظام.
11 Put the empty pot on the coals to make it hot, until the bronze glows, the filth inside melts and therust is burnt away!	11 ثم ضعها فارغة على الجمر ليحمى نحاسها ويحرق فيذوب قذرها فيها ويفنى زنجارها.
12 "But al that rust would not come off in the fire.	12 بمشقات تعبت ولم تخرج منها كثرة زنجارها. في النار زنجارها.
13 Your filth is infamous. Since I have tried to purge you and you would not let yourself be purged ofyour filth, so now you wil never be purged of your filth until I have sated my anger on you.	13 في نجاستك رذيلة لاني طهرتك فلم تطهري ولن تطهري بعد من نجاستك حتى احل غضبي عليك.
14 I, Yahweh, have spoken; this wil happen; I shal act and not relent; I shal show no pity, nocompassion. You will be judged as your conduct and actions deserve -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '	14 انا الرب تكلمت. يأتي فافعله. لا اطلق ولا اشفق ولا اندم. حسب طرقك وحسب اعمالك يحكمون عليك يقول السيد الرب
15 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	15 وكان اليّ كلام الرب قائلا
16 'Son of man, at a blow I am about to deprive you of the delight of your eyes. But you are not tolament, not to weep, not to let your tears run down.	16 يا ابن آدم هانذا آخذ عنك شهوة عينيك بضربة فلا تنح ولا تبك ولا تنزل دموعك.
17 Groan in silence, do not go into mourning for the dead, knot your turban round your head, put yoursandals on your feet, do not cover your beard, do not eat the usual food.'	17 تنهّد ساكتا لا تعمل مناحة على اموات. لف عصابتك عليك واجعل نعليك في رجليك ولا تغط شاربيك ولا تاكل من خبز الناس.
18 I told this to the people in the morning, and my wife died in the evening, and the next morning I did asI had been ordered.	18 فكلمت الشعب صباحا وماتت زوجتي مساء. وفعلت في الغد كما أمرت
19 The people then said to me, 'Will you not explain what meaning these actions have for us?'	19 فقال لي الشعب ألا تخبرنا ما لنا وهذه التي انت صانعها.
20 I replied, 'The word of Yahweh has been addressed to me as fol ows,	20 فاجبتهم قد كان اليّ كلام الرب قائلا
21 "Say to the House of Israel, the Lord Yahweh says this: I am about to profane my sanctuary, thepride of your strength, the delight of your eyes, the joy of your hearts. Your sons and daughters whom you haveleft behind wil fall by the sword.	21 كلم بيت اسرائيل. هكذا قال السيد الرب. هانذا منجس مقدسي فخر عزكم شهوة اعينكم ولذّة نفوسكم. وابناؤكم وبناتكم الذين خلّفتم يسقطون بالسيف
22 Then you wil do as I have done: you wil not cover your beards or eat the usual food;	22 وتفعلون كما فعلت لا تغطون شواربكم ولا تاكلون من خبز الناس.
23 you will keep your turbans on your heads and your sandals on your feet; you wil not lament or weepbut will waste away for your crimes, groaning among yourselves.	23 وتكون عصائبكم على رؤوسكم ونعالكم في ارجلكم. لا تنوحون ولا تبكون وتفنون بآثامكم تئنون بعضكم على بعض.
24 Thus Ezekiel is a sign for you. You wil do exactly what he has done. And when this happens, you willknow that I am Lord Yahweh!"	24 ويكون حزقيال لكم آية. مثل كل ما صنع تصنعون. اذا جاء هذا تعلمون اني انا السيد الرب.
25 'And, son of man, the day that I deprive them of their strength, their crowning joy, the delight of theireyes, the joy of their hearts, their sons and daughters,	25 وانت يا ابن آدم أفلا يكون في يوم آخذ عنهم عزّهم سرور فخرهم شهوة عيونهم ورفعة نفسهم ابناءهم وبناتهم
26 that day a survivor wil bring you the news.	26 ان يأتي اليك في ذلك اليوم المنفلت ليسمع اذنيك.
27 That day your mouth wil be opened to speak to the survivor; you wil speak and no longer be dumb;you wil be a sign for them, and they wil know that I am Yahweh.'	27 في ذلك اليوم ينفتح فمك للمنفلت وتتكلم ولا تكون من بعد ابكم وتكون لهم آية فيعلمون اني انا الرب
