Leviticus 1

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 Yahweh summoned Moses and, speaking to him from the Tent of Meeting, said,	1 ودعا الرب موسى وكلّمه من خيمة الاجتماع قائلا.
2 'Speak to the Israelites; say to them, "When any of you brings an offering to Yahweh, he can offer ananimal either from the herd or from the flock.	2 كلم بني اسرائيل وقل لهم. اذا قرّب انسان منكم قربانا للرب من البهائم فمن البقر والغنم تقرّبون قرابينكم.
3 "If his offering is to be a burnt offering from the herd, he must offer an unblemished male; he wil offer itat the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, to make it acceptable to Yahweh.	3 ان كان قربانه محرقة من البقر فذكرا صحيحا يقرّبه. الى باب خيمة الاجتماع يقدمه للرضا عنه امام الرب.
4 He must lay his hand on the victim's head, and it will be accepted as effectual for his expiation.	4 ويضع يده على راس المحرقة فيرضى عليه للتكفير عنه.
5 He wil then slaughter the bul before Yahweh, and the priests descended from Aaron wil offer theblood. They wil pour it all around the altar which stands at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.	5 ويذبح العجل امام الرب ويقرّب بنو هرون الكهنة الدم ويرشّون الدم مستديرا على المذبح الذي لدى باب خيمة الاجتماع.
6 He wil then skin the victim and quarter it.	6 ويسلخ المحرقة ويقطعها الى قطعها.
7 The priests descended from Aaron will put a fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire.	7 ويجعل بنو هرون الكاهن نارا على المذبح ويرتبون حطبا على النار.
8 The priests descended from Aaron will then arrange the quarters, the head and the fat on the wood onthe fire on the altar.	8 ويرتب بنو هرون الكهنة القطع مع الراس والشحم فوق الحطب الذي على النار التي على المذبح.
9 He wil wash the entrails and shins in water, and the priest wil burn it all on the altar as a burnt offering,food burnt as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.	9 واما احشاؤه واكارعه فيغسلها بماء ويوقد الكاهن الجميع على المذبح محرقة وقود رائحة سرور للرب
10 "If his offering is to be of an animal from the flock, of a lamb or a goat to be offered as a burnt offering,he must offer an unblemished male.	10 وان كان قربانه من الغنم. الضأن او المعز. محرقة فذكرا صحيحا يقرّبه.
11 He will slaughter it on the north side of the altar, before Yahweh, and the priests descended fromAaron will pour the blood al around the altar.	11 ويذبحه على جانب المذبح الى الشمال امام الرب. ويرشّ بنو هرون الكهنة دمه على المذبح مستديرا.
12 He will then quarter it, and the priest wil arrange the quarters, the head and the fat on the wood on thefire on the altar.	12 ويقطّعه الى قطعه مع راسه وشحمه ويرتّبهنّ الكاهن فوق الحطب الذي على النار التي على المذبح.
13 He will wash the entrails and shins in water, and the priest wil burn it al on the altar as a burnt offering, food burnt as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.	13 واما الاحشاء والاكارع فيغسلها بماء ويقرّب الكاهن الجميع ويوقد على المذبح. انه محرقة وقود رائحة سرور للرب
14 "If his offering to Yahweh is to be a burnt offering of a bird, he must offer a turtledove or a youngpigeon.	14 وان كان قربانه للرب من الطير محرقة يقرّب قربانه من اليمام او من افراخ الحمام.
15 The priest wil offer it at the altar and wring off its head, which he wil burn on the altar; its blood mustthen be squeezed out on the side of the altar.	15 يقدّمه الكاهن الى المذبح ويحزّ راسه ويوقد على المذبح ويعصر دمه على حائط المذبح.
16 He will then remove the crop and the feathers and throw them on the eastern side of the altar, wherethe fatty ashes are put.	16 وينزع حوصلته بفرثها ويطرحها الى جانب المذبح شرقا الى مكان الرماد.
17 He will then split it in half with a wing on each side, but without separating the two parts. The priest wilthen burn it on the altar, on the wood which is on the fire, as a burnt offering, food burnt as a smel pleasing toYahweh." '	17 ويشقّه بين جناحيه. لا يفصله. ويوقده الكاهن على المذبح فوق الحطب الذي على النار. انه محرقة وقود رائحة سرور للرب
