Leviticus 1

1 Yahweh summoned Moses and, speaking to him from the Tent of Meeting, said,	1 E il Signore chiamò Mosè, e gli parlò dal tabernacolo del testimonio, e disse:
2 'Speak to the Israelites; say to them, "When any of you brings an offering to Yahweh, he can offer ananimal either from the herd or from the flock.	2 Parla a' figliuoli d’Israele, e dirai loro: Chiunque di voi vorrà offerire al Signore una ostia di quadrupedi, vale a dire, offerirà vittime di bovi, e di pecore,
3 "If his offering is to be a burnt offering from the herd, he must offer an unblemished male; he wil offer itat the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, to make it acceptable to Yahweh.	3 Se l'obblazione di lui sarà un olocausto, e questo di mandra; offerirà un maschio senza macchia alla porta del tabernacolo del testimonio per rendersi propizio il Signore:
4 He must lay his hand on the victim's head, and it will be accepted as effectual for his expiation.	4 E porrà la mano sul capo dell'ostia, e questa sarà accettevole, e alla espiazione di lui gioverà.
5 He wil then slaughter the bul before Yahweh, and the priests descended from Aaron wil offer theblood. They wil pour it all around the altar which stands at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.	5 Egli immolerà il vitello dinanzi al Signore, e i sacerdoti figliuoli di Aronne ne offeriranno il sangue, spargendolo intorno all’altare, che è davanti alla porta del tabernacolo:
6 He wil then skin the victim and quarter it.	6 E tratta la pelle all'ostia, ne faranno in pezzi le membra:
7 The priests descended from Aaron will put a fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire.	7 E accomodate prima sopra l’altare le legna, vi daran fuoco:
8 The priests descended from Aaron will then arrange the quarters, the head and the fat on the wood onthe fire on the altar.	8 E vi porran sopra con ordine le membra spezzate, vale a dire il capo, e tutte le parti che sono annesse al fegato,
9 He wil wash the entrails and shins in water, and the priest wil burn it all on the altar as a burnt offering,food burnt as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.	9 Gli intestini, e i piedi lavati nell'acqua: e il sacerdote farà bruciare queste cose sopra l’altare in olocausto di soave odore al Signore.
10 "If his offering is to be of an animal from the flock, of a lamb or a goat to be offered as a burnt offering,he must offer an unblemished male.	10 Che se l'obblazione di quadrupedi è un olocausto di pecore, ovver di capre, offerirà un maschio senza macchia:
11 He will slaughter it on the north side of the altar, before Yahweh, and the priests descended fromAaron will pour the blood al around the altar.	11 E lo immolerà davanti al Signore dal lato settentrional dell'altare: e i figliuoli d'Aronne ne spargeranno il sangue sopra tutto il circuito dell'altare:
12 He will then quarter it, and the priest wil arrange the quarters, the head and the fat on the wood on thefire on the altar.	12 E spezzeranno le membra, il capo, e le parti annesse al fegato; e le porranno sopra le legna, alle quali dee darsi fuoco:
13 He will wash the entrails and shins in water, and the priest wil burn it al on the altar as a burnt offering, food burnt as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.	13 E laveranno l'interiora, e i piedi nell'acqua. E il sacerdote farà bruciare tutta l’obblazione sopra l’altare in olocausto di odore soavissimo al Signore.
14 "If his offering to Yahweh is to be a burnt offering of a bird, he must offer a turtledove or a youngpigeon.	14 Se avrà a farsi obblazione di uccelli in olocausto al Signore, (farassi) di tortore, o di colombini.
15 The priest wil offer it at the altar and wring off its head, which he wil burn on the altar; its blood mustthen be squeezed out on the side of the altar.	15 Il sacerdote la offerirà all’ altare, e ripiegatole il capo sul collo, e fattale una ferita, farà scorrer il sangue sull'orlo dell'altare:
16 He will then remove the crop and the feathers and throw them on the eastern side of the altar, wherethe fatty ashes are put.	16 Ma la vescichetta della gola, e le penne le getterà presso all’altare dalla parte d'oriente là dove soglion gettarsi le ceneri,
17 He will then split it in half with a wing on each side, but without separating the two parts. The priest wilthen burn it on the altar, on the wood which is on the fire, as a burnt offering, food burnt as a smel pleasing toYahweh." '	17 E le romperà le ali, e non la taglierà, né la spezzerà con ferro; e faralla bruciare sopra l’altare, dato fuoco alle legna. Olocausto è questo, e obblazione di soavissimo odore al Signore.
