Leviticus 1

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA CEI 2008
1 Yahweh summoned Moses and, speaking to him from the Tent of Meeting, said,	1 Il Signore chiamò Mosè, gli parlò dalla tenda del convegno e disse:
2 'Speak to the Israelites; say to them, "When any of you brings an offering to Yahweh, he can offer ananimal either from the herd or from the flock.	2 «Parla agli Israeliti dicendo: “Quando uno di voi vorrà presentare come offerta in onore del Signore un animale scelto fra il bestiame domestico, offrirete un capo di bestiame grosso o minuto.
3 "If his offering is to be a burnt offering from the herd, he must offer an unblemished male; he wil offer itat the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, to make it acceptable to Yahweh.	3 Se la sua offerta è un olocausto di bestiame grosso, egli offrirà un maschio senza difetto; l’offrirà all’ingresso della tenda del convegno, perché sia accetto al Signore in suo favore.
4 He must lay his hand on the victim's head, and it will be accepted as effectual for his expiation.	4 Poserà la mano sulla testa della vittima, che sarà accettata in suo favore per compiere il rito espiatorio per lui.
5 He wil then slaughter the bul before Yahweh, and the priests descended from Aaron wil offer theblood. They wil pour it all around the altar which stands at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.	5 Poi scannerà il giovenco davanti al Signore, e i figli di Aronne, i sacerdoti, offriranno il sangue e lo spargeranno intorno all’altare che è all’ingresso della tenda del convegno.
6 He wil then skin the victim and quarter it.	6 Scorticherà la vittima e la taglierà a pezzi.
7 The priests descended from Aaron will put a fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire.	7 I figli del sacerdote Aronne porranno il fuoco sull’altare e metteranno la legna sul fuoco;
8 The priests descended from Aaron will then arrange the quarters, the head and the fat on the wood onthe fire on the altar.	8 poi i figli di Aronne, i sacerdoti, disporranno i pezzi, la testa e il grasso sulla legna e sul fuoco che è sull’altare.
9 He wil wash the entrails and shins in water, and the priest wil burn it all on the altar as a burnt offering,food burnt as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.	9 Laverà con acqua le viscere e le zampe; poi il sacerdote brucerà il tutto sull’altare come olocausto, sacrificio consumato dal fuoco, profumo gradito in onore del Signore.
10 "If his offering is to be of an animal from the flock, of a lamb or a goat to be offered as a burnt offering,he must offer an unblemished male.	10 Se la sua offerta per l’olocausto è presa dal bestiame minuto, tra le pecore o tra le capre, egli offrirà un maschio senza difetto.
11 He will slaughter it on the north side of the altar, before Yahweh, and the priests descended fromAaron will pour the blood al around the altar.	11 Lo scannerà al lato settentrionale dell’altare, davanti al Signore. I figli di Aronne, i sacerdoti, spargeranno il sangue attorno all’altare.
12 He will then quarter it, and the priest wil arrange the quarters, the head and the fat on the wood on thefire on the altar.	12 Lo taglierà a pezzi, con la testa e il grasso, e il sacerdote li disporrà sulla legna, collocata sul fuoco dell’altare.
13 He will wash the entrails and shins in water, and the priest wil burn it al on the altar as a burnt offering, food burnt as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.	13 Laverà con acqua le viscere e le zampe; poi il sacerdote offrirà il tutto e lo brucerà sull’altare: è un olocausto, sacrificio consumato dal fuoco, profumo gradito in onore del Signore.
14 "If his offering to Yahweh is to be a burnt offering of a bird, he must offer a turtledove or a youngpigeon.	14 Se la sua offerta in onore del Signore è un olocausto di uccelli, presenterà tortore o colombi.
15 The priest wil offer it at the altar and wring off its head, which he wil burn on the altar; its blood mustthen be squeezed out on the side of the altar.	15 Il sacerdote presenterà l’animale all’altare, ne staccherà la testa, la farà bruciare sull’altare e il sangue sarà spruzzato sulla parete dell’altare.
16 He will then remove the crop and the feathers and throw them on the eastern side of the altar, wherethe fatty ashes are put.	16 Poi toglierà il gozzo con il suo sudiciume e lo getterà al lato orientale dell’altare, dov’è il luogo delle ceneri.
17 He will then split it in half with a wing on each side, but without separating the two parts. The priest wilthen burn it on the altar, on the wood which is on the fire, as a burnt offering, food burnt as a smel pleasing toYahweh." '	17 Dividerà l’uccello in due metà prendendolo per le ali, ma senza staccarle, e il sacerdote lo brucerà sull’altare, sulla legna che è sul fuoco. È un olocausto, sacrificio consumato dal fuoco, profumo gradito in onore del Signore.
