Leviticus 1

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 Yahweh summoned Moses and, speaking to him from the Tent of Meeting, said,	1 Yahveh llamó a Moisés y le habló así desde la Tienda del Encuentro:
2 'Speak to the Israelites; say to them, "When any of you brings an offering to Yahweh, he can offer ananimal either from the herd or from the flock.	2 Habla a los israelitas y diles: Cuando alguno de vosotros presente a Yahveh una ofrenda, podréis hacer vuestras ofrendas de ganado, mayor o menor.
3 "If his offering is to be a burnt offering from the herd, he must offer an unblemished male; he wil offer itat the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, to make it acceptable to Yahweh.	3 Si su ofrenda es un holocausto de ganado mayor ofrecerá un macho sin defecto; lo ofrecerá a la entrada de la Tienda del Encuentro, para que sea grato ante Yahveh.
4 He must lay his hand on the victim's head, and it will be accepted as effectual for his expiation.	4 Impondrá su mano sobre la cabeza de la víctima y le será aceptada para que le sirva de expiación.
5 He wil then slaughter the bul before Yahweh, and the priests descended from Aaron wil offer theblood. They wil pour it all around the altar which stands at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.	5 Inmolará el novillo ante Yahveh; los hijos de Aarón, los sacerdotes, ofrecerán la sangre y la derramarán alrededor del altar situado a la entrada de la Tienda del Encuentro.
6 He wil then skin the victim and quarter it.	6 Desollará después la víctima y la descuartizará;
7 The priests descended from Aaron will put a fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire.	7 los hijos de Aarón, los sacerdotes, pondrán fuego sobre el altar y colocarán leña sobre el fuego;
8 The priests descended from Aaron will then arrange the quarters, the head and the fat on the wood onthe fire on the altar.	8 luego, los hijos de Aarón, los sacerdotes, dispondrán las porciones, la cabeza y el sebo, encima de la leña colocada sobre el fuego del altar.
9 He wil wash the entrails and shins in water, and the priest wil burn it all on the altar as a burnt offering,food burnt as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.	9 El lavará con agua las entrañas y las patas y el sacerdote lo quemará todo en el altar. Es un holocausto, un manjar abrasado de calmante aroma par Yahveh.
10 "If his offering is to be of an animal from the flock, of a lamb or a goat to be offered as a burnt offering,he must offer an unblemished male.	10 Si su ofrenda es de ganado menor, de corderos o cabras, para holocausto, ofrecerá un macho sin defecto.
11 He will slaughter it on the north side of the altar, before Yahweh, and the priests descended fromAaron will pour the blood al around the altar.	11 Lo inmolará al lado septentrional del altar ante Yahveh, y los hijos de Aarón los sacerdotes, derramarán la sangre alrededor del altar.
12 He will then quarter it, and the priest wil arrange the quarters, the head and the fat on the wood on thefire on the altar.	12 Luego, lo despedazará en porciones, y el sacerdote las dispondrá, con la cabeza y el sebo, encima de la leña colocada sobre el fuego del altar.
13 He will wash the entrails and shins in water, and the priest wil burn it al on the altar as a burnt offering, food burnt as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.	13 Lavará él con agua las entrañas y las patas, y el sacerdote lo ofrecerá todo y lo quemará en el altar. Es un holocausto, un manjar abrasado de calmante aroma para Yahveh.
14 "If his offering to Yahweh is to be a burnt offering of a bird, he must offer a turtledove or a youngpigeon.	14 Si su ofrenda a Yahveh es un holocausto de aves, presentará como ofrenda tórtolas o pichones.
15 The priest wil offer it at the altar and wring off its head, which he wil burn on the altar; its blood mustthen be squeezed out on the side of the altar.	15 El sacerdote la ofrecerá en el altar, descervigará su cabeza y la quemará en el altar; su sangre será exprimida contra la pared del altar.
16 He will then remove the crop and the feathers and throw them on the eastern side of the altar, wherethe fatty ashes are put.	16 Quitará entonces el buche con las plumas y los arrojará al lado oriental del altar, al lugar donde se echan las cenizas.
17 He will then split it in half with a wing on each side, but without separating the two parts. The priest wilthen burn it on the altar, on the wood which is on the fire, as a burnt offering, food burnt as a smel pleasing toYahweh." '	17 Abrirá el ave entre las alas, sin llegar a partirla; y la quemará en el altar, encima de la leña colocado sobre el fuego. Es un holocausto, un manjar abrasado de calmante aroma para Yahveh.
