Leviticus 1

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA RICCIOTTI
1 Yahweh summoned Moses and, speaking to him from the Tent of Meeting, said,	1 - Ora il Signore chiamò Mosè e gli parlò dal tabernacolo della testimonianza dicendogli:
2 'Speak to the Israelites; say to them, "When any of you brings an offering to Yahweh, he can offer ananimal either from the herd or from the flock.	2 «Parla a' figli d'Israele, e di' loro: - Chiunque di voi offrirà al Signore un sacrifizio di animali da pascolo, come bovi e pecore, offrendoli per vittime;
3 "If his offering is to be a burnt offering from the herd, he must offer an unblemished male; he wil offer itat the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, to make it acceptable to Yahweh.	3 se l'oblazione sua sarà un olocausto preso dalla mandra, presenterà all'ingresso del tabernacolo della testimonianza un maschio senza difetti, per rendersi placato il Signore.
4 He must lay his hand on the victim's head, and it will be accepted as effectual for his expiation.	4 Porrà la mano sul capo della vittima, e questa diverrà accetta, e profittevole all'espiazione di lui.
5 He wil then slaughter the bul before Yahweh, and the priests descended from Aaron wil offer theblood. They wil pour it all around the altar which stands at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.	5 Poi immolerà l'animale innanzi al Signore, ed i sacerdoti ed i figli d'Aronne ne offriranno il sangue versandolo in giro intorno all'altare che sta avanti all'ingresso del tabernacolo.
6 He wil then skin the victim and quarter it.	6 Cavata poi la pelle alla vittima, ne divideranno le membra,
7 The priests descended from Aaron will put a fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire.	7 e dopo aver accomodato le legna sull'altare vi metteranno sotto il fuoco;
8 The priests descended from Aaron will then arrange the quarters, the head and the fat on the wood onthe fire on the altar.	8 vi disporranno sopra le membra già tagliate, il capo, e tutte le parti aderenti al fegato,
9 He wil wash the entrails and shins in water, and the priest wil burn it all on the altar as a burnt offering,food burnt as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.	9 dopo lavati con acqua gl'intestini ed i piedi; indi il sacerdote farà bruciar il tutto sull'altare, in olocausto di grato profumo al Signore.
10 "If his offering is to be of an animal from the flock, of a lamb or a goat to be offered as a burnt offering,he must offer an unblemished male.	10 Che se l'offerta è un olocausto preso di fra il gregge, come di pecore o capre, offrirà un maschio senza difetti,
11 He will slaughter it on the north side of the altar, before Yahweh, and the priests descended fromAaron will pour the blood al around the altar.	11 e l'immolerà innanzi al Signore, dal lato dell'altare che guarda a settentrione; i figli poi d'Aronne ne verseranno il sangue sull'altare, in giro;
12 He will then quarter it, and the priest wil arrange the quarters, the head and the fat on the wood on thefire on the altar.	12 poi ne spezzeranno le membra, il capo, e tutto ciò che sta intorno al fegato, e lo porranno sulle legna, alle quali poi daranno fuoco;
13 He will wash the entrails and shins in water, and the priest wil burn it al on the altar as a burnt offering, food burnt as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.	13 le interiora però ed i piedi, li laveranno prima nell'acqua e tutta l'offerta verrà bruciata dal sacerdote sull'altare in olocausto d'odore gratissimo al Signore.
14 "If his offering to Yahweh is to be a burnt offering of a bird, he must offer a turtledove or a youngpigeon.	14 Se poi l'offerta d'un olocausto al Signore sarà di uccelli come di tortore o due colombini,
15 The priest wil offer it at the altar and wring off its head, which he wil burn on the altar; its blood mustthen be squeezed out on the side of the altar.	15 il sacerdote offrirà la vittima all'altare, e piegatole il capo sul collo, e fattale una ferita, ne farà sgocciolare il sangue sull'orlo dell'altare;
16 He will then remove the crop and the feathers and throw them on the eastern side of the altar, wherethe fatty ashes are put.	16 il gozzo e le penne, le getterà via presso l'altare, dal lato d'oriente, nel luogo dove si soglion gettare le ceneri;
17 He will then split it in half with a wing on each side, but without separating the two parts. The priest wilthen burn it on the altar, on the wood which is on the fire, as a burnt offering, food burnt as a smel pleasing toYahweh." '	17 poi le romperà l'ali, ma non la taglierà nè la dividerà col ferro, e dato fuoco alle legna la brucerà sull'altare. È un olocausto ed un'offerta di soavissimo odore per il Signore.
