Isaiah 60

NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 Arise, shine out, for your light has come, and the glory of Yahweh has risen on you.	1 Kelj fel, tündökölj, mert eljött világosságod, és az Úr dicsősége felragyogott fölötted!
2 Look! though night stil covers the earth and darkness the peoples, on you Yahweh is rising and overyou his glory can be seen.	2 Mert íme, sötétség borítja a földet, és homály a népeket, de fölötted felragyog az Úr, és dicsősége megjelenik fölötted.
3 The nations wil come to your light and kings to your dawning brightness.	3 Nemzetek jönnek majd világosságodhoz, és királyok felragyogó fényedhez.
4 Lift up your eyes and look around: al are assembling and coming towards you, your sons coming fromfar away and your daughters being carried on the hip.	4 Hordozd körül szemedet, és lásd: mindnyájan összegyűltek, eljöttek hozzád! Fiaid messziről jönnek, és leányaidat ölben hozzák.
5 At this sight you wil grow radiant, your heart will throb and dilate, since the riches of the sea wil flow toyou, the wealth of the nations come to you;	5 Akkor meglátod majd, és földerülsz, megdobban és kitágul a szíved; mert rád száll a tenger vagyona, nemzetek gazdagsága jön hozzád.
6 camels in throngs wil fill your streets, the young camels of Midian and Ephah; everyone in Saba willcome, bringing gold and incense and proclaiming Yahweh's praises.	6 Tevék áradata borít el téged, Mádián és Éfa dromedárjai, mindnyájan Sábából jönnek; aranyat és tömjént hoznak, és az Úr dicső tetteit hirdetik.
7 Al the flocks of Kedar will gather inside you, the rams of Nebaioth wil be at your service as acceptablevictims on my altar, and I shal glorify my glorious house.	7 Kedár minden nyája odagyűlik hozzád, Nábajót kosai neked szolgálnak; kedves áldozattá lesznek oltáromon, és dicsőséges házamat megdicsőítem.

9 Why, the coasts and islands put their hope in me and the vessels of Tarshish take the lead in bringing your children from far away, and their silver and gold with them, for the sake of the name of Yahweh your God,of the Holy One of Israel who has made you glorious.	9 Bizony, rám várnak a szigetek, és elöl Tarzis hajói, hogy elhozzák fiaidat a távolból, ezüstjüket és aranyukat velük együtt, az Úr, a te Istened nevének és Izrael Szentjének, mert megdicsőített téged.

16 You wil suck the milk of nations, you wil suck the wealth of kings, and you wil know that I, Yahweh,am your Saviour, that your redeemer is the Mighty One of Jacob.	16 Szopod majd a nemzetek tejét, és királyi emlőket fogsz szopni; akkor megtudod, hogy én vagyok az Úr, a te szabadítód, és a te megváltód, Jákob Hatalmasa.
17 For bronze I shal bring gold and for iron I shal bring silver, and for wood, bronze, and for stone, iron; Ishall make Peace your administration and Saving Justice your government.	17 A réz helyett aranyat hozok, és a vas helyett ezüstöt hozok; a fa helyett rezet, és a kövek helyett vasat; felügyelőddé a békét teszem, és parancsolóddá az igazságot.
18 Violence wil no longer be heard of in your country, nor devastation and ruin within your frontiers. Youwil cal your wal s 'Salvation' and your gates 'Praise'.	18 Nem hallani többé erőszakról országodban, sem pusztulásról és romlásról határaidban; a szabadítást nevezed falaidnak, és kapuidnak a dicséretet.
19 No more wil the sun give you daylight, nor moonlight shine on you, but Yahweh wil be youreverlasting light, your God wil be your splendour.	19 Nem lesz többé a nap nappali világosságod, és a hold fénye nem világít neked, hanem az Úr lesz neked örök világosságod, és Istened az ékességed.
20 Your sun will set no more nor wil your moon wane, for Yahweh wil be your everlasting light and yourdays of mourning will be over.	20 Nem megy le többé napod, és holdad nem fogyatkozik meg, mert az Úr lesz neked örök világosságod, és letelnek gyászod napjai.
21 Your people, al of them upright, wil possess the country for ever, the shoot I myself have planted, myhandiwork, for my own glory.	21 Néped csupa igazakból áll, örökre birtokba veszik az országot; ültetvényem hajtása, kezem műve, az én dicsőségemre.
22 The smal est wil grow into a thousand, the weakest one into a mighty nation. When the time is ripe, I,Yahweh, shal quickly bring it about.	22 A legkisebb is ezerré lesz, és a legcsekélyebb hatalmas nemzetté. Én, az Úr, a maga idejében gyorsan végbeviszem.
