Isaiah 6

NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 In the year of King Uzziah's death I saw the Lord seated on a high and lofty throne; his train fil ed thesanctuary.	1 Abban az esztendőben, amikor meghalt Uzija király, láttam az Urat, amint magas és kiemelkedő trónuson ült, és ruhájának uszálya betöltötte a templomot.
2 Above him stood seraphs, each one with six wings: two to cover its face, two to cover its feet and two forflying;	2 Szeráfok álltak mellette; hat-hat szárnya volt mindegyiknek: kettővel befödték arcukat, kettővel befödték lábukat, és kettővel repültek.
3 and they were shouting these words to each other: Holy, holy, holy is Yahweh Sabaoth. His glory fil s thewhole earth.	3 Az egyik így kiáltott a másiknak: »Szent, szent, szent a Seregek Ura, betölti az egész földet dicsősége!«
4 The door-posts shook at the sound of their shouting, and the Temple was ful of smoke.	4 Megrendültek a küszöbök alapjai a kiáltó hangjától, és a ház betelt füsttel.
5 Then I said: 'Woe is me! I am lost, for I am a man of unclean lips and I live among a people of uncleanlips, and my eyes have seen the King, Yahweh Sabaoth.'	5 Ekkor így szóltam: »Jaj nekem, végem van! Mert tisztátalan ajkú ember vagyok, és tisztátalan ajkú nép között lakom, mégis a Királyt, a Seregek Urát látták szemeim!«
6 Then one of the seraphs flew to me, holding in its hand a live coal which it had taken from the altar witha pair of tongs.	6 Erre odarepült hozzám az egyik szeráf; kezében parázs volt, melyet csípővassal vett el az oltárról.
7 With this it touched my mouth and said: 'Look, this has touched your lips, your guilt has been removedand your sin forgiven.'	7 Hozzáérintette a számhoz, és így szólt: »Íme, ez megérintette ajkadat, és eltűnt a bűnöd, vétked bocsánatot nyert.«
8 I then heard the voice of the Lord saying: 'Whom shal I send? Who will go for us?' And I said, 'Here amI, send me.'	8 Majd hallottam az Úr hangját, amint mondotta: »Kit küldjek el? Ki megy el nekünk?« Ekkor azt mondtam: »Íme, itt vagyok, engem küldj!«
9 He said: 'Go, and say to this people, "Listen and listen, but never understand! Look and look, but neverperceive!"	9 Erre így szólt: »Menj, és mondd ennek a népnek: ‘Hallván halljatok, de ne értsetek, és látván lássatok, de ne ismerjetek!’
10 Make this people's heart coarse, make their ears dul , shut their eyes tight, or they wil use their eyes tosee, use their ears to hear, use their heart to understand, and change their ways and be healed.'	10 Tedd hájassá e nép szívét, fülét tedd süketté, és szemét ragaszd le, hogy ne lásson szemével, fülével ne halljon, és szívével ne értsen, hogy meg ne térjen, és meg ne gyógyuljon!«
11 I then said, 'Until when, Lord?' He replied, 'Until towns are in ruins and deserted, houses untenantedand a great desolation reigns in the land,	11 Erre megkérdeztem: »Meddig, Uram?« Ő így szólt: »Amíg el nem pusztulnak a városok, s lakók nélkül nem lesznek, a házak emberek nélkül, és a szántóföld pusztává nem válik.«
12 and Yahweh has driven the people away and the country is total y abandoned.	12 Eltávolítja az Úr az embereket, és teljes lesz az elhagyatottság az országban.
13 And suppose one-tenth of them are left in it, that wil be stripped again, like the terebinth, like the oak,cut back to the stock; their stock is a holy seed.'	13 Még ha meg is marad benne egy tizednyi, az is csak elpusztul újra, mint a terebint és mint a tölgyfa, amelynek kidöntés után megmarad a törzsöke: szent mag a törzsöke.
